We waited 24 hours for our Home Warranty to assign a vendor to fix our whole house backup. They finally told me they didn't have anyone on contract in our area and I could find someone myself. I immediately called Wighton's . They came out in 3 hours and fixed our problem that afternoon. Their rep wasn't going to leave until the clog was fixed and he had verified it was clear. Very poor workmanship on new furnace install in spring of 2023. Had to call them back three times and that still did not solve all the problems. Stay away there are much better choices on the central coast.

I called to have new sink installed as I got new countertops. Appointment after 2. They never showed up. I called at 3:30 and dispatcher told me I had an appt. but they would not make it that day. I made a new appt. for next day at 830. Received phone call at 930 that he was in meeting and would be buying my new products and come . ( he was a hour away). We used Wighton's three years ago to install a new gas furnace in our home. At that time they were very responsive and the work was done in a professional manner. Three years later a home inspection found that there was excess moisture in side the heater causing some rust on some of the metal, including the gas line. I called Wighton's to see if they could look at the furnace to see why water was building up. After multiple calls I was told the scheduler would be in touch. I can always rely on Wighton's! Water appeared on our kitchen floor with no obvious source. Carlos worked hard to hunt down the source of what turned out to be two leaks related to our RO system. At least one I believe was the result of sloppy plumbing work by another company that installed a new RO unit! Great experience with Patrick! We were having trouble with our heating unit in a rental, and he came out quickly and evaluated that it was in good shape and we did not need a new one. Also he would not accept any payment for his visit. Seems like you have to know how to use the thermostat properly for it to work! Whenever we do need a unit we will definitely call Wightons.

Today, 4/14/23, I received a call from the manager of Wighton's and he was very apologetic regarding my experience. John told me that he was recently hired and is trying to help improve service at the company through further training of technician's and also working with IT to get the pricing program to work well for the company and it's patrons. We had them install a heat pump furnace and a/c. Cost close to $20,000. No one told us before the installation that it would vibrate and make a terrifying groaning sound. Nor was it discussed that since the outside unit was on the exterior wall of our bedroom , these noises would interfere with our sleep. Nor was it suggested to move the outside unit further away from the walls of the house, which we would have definitely done if the noise issue had been disclosed. This Company is extremely expensive. we have been a member for a long, long time we pay $9.99 a month. that gives us a $20 visit discount if we need their help, which we have maybe 5 or 6 times over the years to check our heater. No work.($79) Their repairs are exorbitant. $590.00 to put in 2 plugs. They won't give you a breakdown of parts and labor. We went to a small local plumber and got it done for $300.
