Perhaps the shoddiest customer service I've encountered since living on the Central Coast, an area unknown for its customer service. I scheduled a technician and had the owner call to give his approval. The technician arrived but was not trained to service a gas furnace (?) Yeah, I know. So he said someone else would arrive in 30 minutes, and he would wait outside. After 45 minutes, no one showed, and the guy had left. The WORST!! Price gouging, disrespecting, would not discuss in person on the phone. Read all the reviews. Its a blazing trail of unhappy customers/victims.

I received a quote to install a new toilet for $1571, and install if I supply toilet for $875. The toilet is on the ground floor and has no complications. Simple toilet install. I was able to have the toilet installed for $175 by a licensed plumber. I would expect to pay for $250- $400 for this job. It took the installer about an hour to complete the job. Wighton's states they get City building permits for all of their jobs. They charge exorbitant fees for these permits but they do not always get them, nor send the final, signed permit to customers. I paid Wighton's $1,200 for a City building permit to replace a heater at my home. They FAILED to produce this permit for 3 months after the job was finished despite multiple requests. Our regular winter semi-annual appointment this year was on 2-01-24. The technician was supposed to be here between 8am and 12 Noon to check the Heating Unit. Customer service went WAY downhill when the local owners sold to a bigger company. Read the other one star reviews BEFORE you call them. Super easy to get put on the calendar but twice had no shows and we USED to participate in the prepaid preventative service loyalty program UNTIL they lost record of us prepaying for a plumber and air conditioning. Wighton's personnel are very polite and nice on the phone, their techs in the field are too. The issue is getting a call back and an appointment in a timely manner. When you have no heat at all - it would be nice to get a call back when promised by the employee who answered the phone,

Call this company if you are wealthy and have plenty of time. They cancelled my first appointment. I waited another day with a broken garbage disposal in a vacation rental. Then I was quoted $550 for installation alone. I already bought the new disposal at $200. This is the price to replace an existing disposal. No diagnosis, just replace. The job would take 1 hour, maybe 2 maximum, but they want $275-$550/hour. It's sad how far we've fallen and how much greed has taken over. The representative who answered the phone (a male) informed me he couldn't schedule me for a service appointment without speaking to my landlord and obtaining authorization (the property owner) since I'm a renter.
