Great experience! Jonathan Guiliano was very friendly, on time and honest. He went over all of our options for our heating unit and exceeded our expectations.
Do not use this company. They even admitted to me they cannot compete with local prices. They charged me $570 to fill coolant on my sons mini split ac/heater unit. They charge $99 to come out but then said I would be charged an additional $150 diagnostic fee if I chose to do nothing. This was never mentioned ahead of time. Another local company said their charge would have been $185. I got taken!!
I really can't recommend this company. They tried to charge me $780 for a surge suppressor for my heater and the installation of a thermostat that I own! This is outrageous! And that doesn't include the $99 service call! Please look elsewhere. Not only that, I had to call repeatedly to try to get an appointment and a status report. Meanwhile I'm freezing in my home with no heat.
I have been a priority customer of Whiton's for over 4 years, where I pay a monthly fee for what I thought would be premier service. l have been very disappointed the past few months with their cancelling appointments after I have rearranged my schedule and that of my renters. April and Amanda are quick to blame their answering service for booking appointments that they cannot keep. One property we manage is on well water and has had low water pressure issues along with lack of hot water on and off for years. I called them out to install a bidet on my toilet as my partner was having surgery. They were very responsive and I was quite impressed with them until the service person arrived and told me that it would be $1600 to pull the toilet and put the bidet on. After I told him he had to be joking he proceeded to write up a bid. He asked if I needed any other service and I promptly said NO. I then had to write a $99 check for his time. I appreciated the fact that the technician showed me the part that required maintenance and explained why it was needed. He showed the before and after which I really appreciated.
Would not recommend for regular home maintenance. Needed a tub spout diverter replaced so saw add for $77 call. Service guy took over 30 minutes to write up quote- he checked water heater; line pressure and don't know what else 'looking' for issues (I can only assume) so that more work could be added. Grew skeptical as time passed but waited for labor quote since I already had the part on hand. Well whopping $377 quote to replace spout. My schedule appointment time was at 10:00 am on Sept 10 2022 Mark arrived at our gate at 9:36, he called my phone for entrance. At 9:46 I returned the call to have Mark tell me that I missed my appointment slot and he was moving on to his next appointment. I told him he arrived 20 minutes early and he refused to return. I did not receive a call on Monday regarding the missed appointment. The worst customer service, not recommended.
