The technician came out, checked a few things on my non-functioning heat pump then told me I had a leak. Gave me an invoice for $3000 to repair it and said he would need to leave and go buy Nitrogen for the repair. I needed heat but I felt there was something wrong with this diagnosis and the $3000 price tag. Called another HVAC company who came same day and fixed the issue for less than $300.
Unfortunately, I have learned that a lot of HVAC companies are scammers, and this is one of them. They tell you you need more work done than you actually need.

I sent a Yelp request for a While home drain clean out, selected Wiightons as they could have a tech out next morning. Took the day iff. Next morning turned I to Monday, maybe. Lost a WHOLE day of work. I won't be calling them back.
Used Wighton's a long time. Service is decent but overpriced. Yesterday's interaction with technician James sealed the deal for me. I will be moving on from this company. It was the second time James has come to my home. Both times, I found him dismissive and condescending. He even insinuated at yesterday's service call (which was a call-back becuase the job was not done right the first time) that the faucet became loose again because me or my HS daughter were too 'rough' in daily use of the faucet -- rather than the fact ... read more

I was promised a service call..they cancelled at last minute..it was an emergency too..can't recommend
I was promised a service call between 2 and 4..at 4:30 they called and cancelled..it was horrible as the issue was in my Airbnb granny unit..the people left after I said the problem couldn't be fixed that day..so I not only lost money but a wasted day waiting
This company was bought by a venture capital company by the name of pipe dreams. There goal is to get in your house and upsell whether or not you need it. They pay there technicians so poorly that the tech turnaraound is very high. So you won't see a familiar face with them. This company represents greed on its highest level! Quality is always questionable because of the high technician turnaround.
SAVE YOU MONEY!! CALL SOMEONE ELSE! I'll take back my 5 star review for the company. The 5 star was for the worker Jared. Since the Wighton did a good job for my new ducting. I thought it would have been the same but it WAS NOT!! The appointment was for 8am but really didn't start until after 9am. Ok that had to get things together ( maybe ). The person who worked installed the exhaust fan called three different times to someone. I thought it was a personal phone call but It could have been "I don't know how do this job" !!... read more

I called early, a computer took my call. I jumped through all the hoops. I was to get a call back. I received several texts press 1 to confirm and so on. The next day texts continued. I then received a call from some sort of call I think may not have been from this country saying they don't work on ice makers. Really, Really. Next
