I was prepared to order Lamb chops wham I was told on a Sunday. The restaurant had only been open 1 hour upon my arrival there fore I ordered crab cakes and was very disappointed they had no flavor at all to be so expensive for 3 cakes. Wasted my Sunday evening I should've just cooked at home but I had guest out of town visiting therefore we went out. I guess I'll call before going here again to be sure I can get lamb chops
Ruth's is our favorite place to celebrate. We have been there several times and the food and service are always impeccable. From the butter they put on the steaks to the desserts we've never had a bad thing to eat there.

Usually don't like to go into restaurants late/right before they close because I'm a server myself, but JOE did an amazing job Saturday night. I had reservations for 10:30 that night right after I got off work. Didn't take us very long to get seated and started with appetizers and wine. I met a couple of friends for dinner last night. As always the atmosphere and service was top notch from when I checked in (reservation) until we left. When our steaks were brought to our table they gave my friend steak (rare plus) to me and mine (medium) to him. After taking a bite we discovered the mix up. They corrected the mix up and the manager delivered the properly cooked steak to my friend as well as two fresh/hot sides. My coworker and I were both first-timers to Ruth's Chris. We chose this restaurant for Queen's Feast Restaurant Week because of its classic, upscale- mega chain status. Sometimes, with restaurant week it can be crowded, or rushed and impersonal. This was not the case. Had a great time at Ruth's Chris with my family and was pleased with my entree and all the appetizers we ordered. The calamari were voted the best of all by everyone at the table. The surf and turf was also a popular item among the family and was phenomenal. And for dessert, I recommend the apple tart. Delicious.
We came to Ruth's Chris expecting great food and service. The service was good. Unfortunately, the food was not. We never got our meal. People that came in after us and ordered got their meals and ours never came. We asked the server to find out if our meal was coming and said if it wasn't that we would check out. We checked out. It is a shame the kitchen could not keep up. We will never go back. We dine out frequently but won't be visiting this restaurant ever again. Very disappointed.
