James Pickle and Jaime are the most professional bartenders I've ever had the pleasure of visiting in my 64 years. This last Monday was as great as ever
Clayton, our server, was extremely attentive and knowledgeable. He paced our meal perfectly and always made sure our drinks were full. He was very quick when bringing us our checks while also being polite and waiting on another larger (party) table. This will be the last time I visit this location. From the valet issues, hostess issues, food issues, waitress, and bartender issues, I will drive out to the South Park location if I ever decide to try Ruth Chris again.Waited 10 minutes for valet. When we finally flagged him down, he stated he works on tips and that he will be leaving at 9 (reservation was for 830pm). Dinner was great my boyfriend and i always love eating here and our experience was even better with our waiter Clayton and his trainee. Always happy to eat here and will definitely be coming back to see our friend clayton.

Me and my family went to Ruth's Chris for Thanksgiving dinner. We didn't know what to expect, especially given it was a holiday and service has been rough at places around Charlotte lately. We were pleasantly surprised. Our server was awesome. Everything was great. They do even offer a full thanksgiving plating for around $50, including a nice dessert. I opted for the Texas ribeye, along with potatoes AU gratin, Brussels sprouts and a side of bread. Everything turned out great. Definitely order the steak medium.

Very tough to say anything bad about Ruth Chris. This place has a reputation for being very expensive but I think if you give them a chance, it's worth every penny. I love the portion sizes here, they don't over feed you as many restaurants tend to do. The steak I got was PERFECT, I typically do medium but the sever suggested medium rare and I have to say, I was quite pleased. Sorry guys but the uptown location has officially become a retirement home complete with elevator music. The service has become subpar at best and unfortunately the food has also taken a downward turn. My pomegranate martini was made with no pomegranate juice (horrible). I ordered an 8oz filet medium plus, and it came out charred +++. Jimmy, who was behind the bar is unprofessional, under qualified and unfortunately undeserving of any gratuity.
