Absolutely five stars for the food. First time to Ruth Chris, brought my fiancé here for his birthday and he really enjoyed the experience. The ahi tuna appetizer is to die for, and my petit filet with lobster tail was scrumptious. The service was also very good. We enjoy eating at Ruth's Chris, in particular the South Park location. South Park is closed due to renovations so, we decided to go to uptown. We have a history of not receiving food prepared the way we ask. It's been a while, so, we felt it was safe. 1.) We received a call, prior to our visit, reminding us to wear business casual. to gmcharlotteuptown Last night we had dinner at your restaurant. My party was 3 adults and 2 children (One of which was a teenager.) Your front hostess staff would not let us sit in the restaurant because my grandson had what she called ripped jeans. By the way they were expensive. All our family had a good time here celebrating for our Mothers Day dinner. They was doin construction work, but we all still had a nice time and liked the food a whole lot. Our waiter Dom really was on point keepin up with everybodys drinks an they was filled up every time he came by to check on us. The Lobster Macaroni an Cheese was the best that we eva had before! Went to celebrate our Birthday's and it was busy but we didn't feel crowded by our neighbors. The food was delicious and the server gave us a great tip on the appetizers! I think because maybe they were caught off guard by the number of people dining in (good problem to have during COVID) the service was a little slow. We waited awhile for our drinks and our soup and salads didn't come out so we had them boxed up to go. Staff were all wearing masks and it felt safe. I brought my 22 year old daughter to Ruth's Chris for her first time. We're visiting Charlotte together to plan my upcoming move here. Ruth's Chris is always consistently good but Dom and Andreas provided exceptional service tonight with that added southern hospitality. The food was prepared perfectly and I couldn't have asked for anything more. I'll definitely be back after I get settled in here!

We just had the best meal we have ever had at an upscale restaurant. The service was wonderful!! So attentive. From the hostess all the way down to the young man who refilled our water. It was our 38th anniversary and all the staff that came by our table acknowledged that. The food was out of this world. The bread was to die for. Crispy outside but soft inside. We had to have a second loaf. We will definitely be visiting there again.

Absolutely perfect Valentine's dinner! Our waiter, Ryan, was very courteous and friendly. We loved the 75 Cabernet, crab cake appetizer, sizzling filets with asparagus and au gratin potatoes, and "chocolate explosion" dessert with decaf coffee. We have never been disappointed by a Ruth's Chris before, and this uptown Charlotte location exceeded all expectations!!!
