I dined at this restaurant earlier this week and was greeted with exceptional service. Sam, our waiter, couldn't have done a better job. My food came out in a timely manner, and was very delicious. I was also greeted by both managers during my visit who were very hospitable and took the time to engage with us. One of the best hosts the city has to offer. Great atmosphere in the restaurant, great food, and even better people. Already looking forward to my next visit!

Came here for an early birthday dinner, and really enjoyed it. Friendly attentive service from the front to the back of the house. Our server Joe was great. Everything ordered: steak, crab cakes, sides, cocktails were delicious and well made. Honestly, the steak was the best I've had. I look forward to returning.

Everything was amazing! I was warmly greeted upon entry. My waitress, Danny, was the sweetest! I ordered the catch of the day & it was superb! I didn't realize that it came with asparagus & ordered an extra side, but Danny took care of that with no problem. The au gratin potatoes were great, the caesar salad was great, & the pomegranate martini was fixed perfectly. I had a 5:30pm reservation on a Thursday & it was pretty quiet. Sat at the bar for dinner, ordered the Steak Oscar off the classics menu which came with a salad and one side and a glass of my favorite Belle Gloss Pinot Noir. The Caesar salad was beyond disappointing with lots of brown edged lettuce that wasn't fresh. The steak was cooked to my asking and was sizzling hot but the side of mashed potatoes were cold. The food was good. The steak we both had was juicy and tasty. My husband sent his back as it was rare and supposed to be medium, but they fixed it and brought mashed potatoes as an apology. The service wasn't great, it was slow, the waitress was not very intuitive and didn't even give us the specials until after we ordered appetizers and asked about specials. Eek. We made reservations to celebrate a friend's birthday. We were greeted by a cordial staff after valet took the car. The table was nicely decorated with rose petals and silver and gold necklaces. Our waiter was attentive and kept our tables with water and cocktails until our meal arrived. In 2018 and 2019, I used to visit the bar area of the Uptown Ruth's Chris about twice a week. Back then quality and service were top notch. After COVID things fell apart but I expected more from Ruth's Chris given their reputation and the price. After a number of poor visits I stopped going. I like the ambiance vibes and the staffs superb Customer service! My stuffed chicken and sweet potato casserole was delicious and hot!! Uptown Charlotte is a good location for me to walk out and continue shopping with a big smile on my face.
