Our AC was acting erratically and not cooling well during a long stretch of excessive heat, so we were desperate for help. Perry installed our system almost 20 years ago and we've been very happy with it; it's been practically trouble-free. I called Perry Heating and Cooling and a technician arrived within hours. On Thursday night my AC stopped working it was hot. I called PH&C because they put the unit in a number of years ago. They were able to get a service man out to me Friday afternoon (it was HOTTER) so as promised the service tech. Jordan called and was out to the house within the 20 minutes he had estimated. What an absolute rip off. I called them to repair one of the ducts, under the house, which had become disconnected. At the time of the call, I informed them of the problem and where it was located. The service tech arrived within the two hour window they provided. He restated the problem as I had described it. I then told him where it was. He pulled some of the skirting off and crawled under the house. I wrongly assumed that he would be reattaching the duct that had come loose. Our HVAC decided to quit during 110 degree weather. PerryHeating/Cooling has kept our system working well,for over 20 years. Yvonne made sure we had help within one day. Noe recommended new systems and Remmi Halo too. Financing and terms are very affordable, and fair. I never leave bad reviews but I feel it is my civic duty to warn people about this company. We called them because our AC was not working properly. The tech inspected it and said that the leak was so bad that it could not be repaired and we needed a new ac. Then he compiled a list of expensive ac units. When I inquired about repairing the leak he said the ac was too old and at the end of its life anyway. They also charged a substantial consultation fee! I do not normally use Perry for my heating and cooling services, but my regular technician could not fit me in until Thursday. Perry was recommended by a neighbor, so I called them. I was without heat on Wednesday as of 1:00 in the afternoon, and since we were due to have a hard freeze I did not want to spend a night without heat. Just got a second quote on a air conditioner/ heat pump replacement from Perry Heating & Cooling. The technician was quick to call in and get the quote on a new Trane system from his supervisor. Unfortunately the quote was provided on a sticky note and was $1,317.52 higher than the first quote obtained on the same Trane system. They technician was very personable but the estimate seems designed to benefit the short term Perry bottom line.
