We had our closets installed by California Closets through the Irvine Pacific builder. The closets should've been completed by the time that we close escrow with the builder. However two months after escrow closed and 4 visits later, the closets have not been completed correctly with many issues. This has been a frustrating experience in terms of the communications and the commitment to resolve issues from California Closet. Such a positive experience, beginning to end. We started with a master suite closet (included in the cost of our new home) and we enjoyed working with our designer, Lynn, so much, we did another 2 closets at our expense. The design process, installation and finished product is superb. We like the results so much that after living in our house for six months, we asked Lynn to come back and design a mud room storage unit. Had $7500 Worth of closets installed and they drilled the holes incorrectly on the door, didn't have the countertops for the two built in desks because their machine from Italy was broken. Took additional 4 weeks of waiting time for replacement door and the local naples office offered no discount, no call, no concern and absolutely worst email correspondence when asking for a discount for the installers error and the manager email was rude and insulting. California closets in Los Gatos is the way to go. I used their services for a retail fitting room and stockroom. I couldn't be more happier than the turnout. I do recommend everyone to go to Eric, his work ethic and skill do speak loudly, perfect for anyone who is looking for top shelf quality (pun intended). Amazing job done that suited the shop well.

This was my first time working with California Closets. Although it was pricey the quality of service is worth the price. The entire process was great. I got two closets and one office done. My designer was Roland Gabriel and he was excellent. He was accommodating and patient with every feedback I gave him. And boy, I gave a lot of feedback. I have remodeled the entire interior of my home. I decided to have California Closets do all the bedroom and linen closets - 11 in all. The designer with whom I worked was friendly, knowledgeable and did an excellent job helping me design the spaces. The materials are not much better than Home Depot. The melamine does not even go to the edge on some of the shelves. The workmanship is spotty. Some shelves do not go all the way to the back or side. This is our second time using karen and California closets. We have been very satisfied both times! Karen and the rest of the team were prompt and professional. Karen truly know what she's doing and offered suggestions for our new walk in closet system because I had no idea what to have. She offered us different price points and tried to save us money where she could which I really appreciated because this is not cheap! Worst decision ever. Cheap looking and it takes months to years for them to finish a job. I am still waiting for my closet to be completed--its been over a year and a half and now the veneer has been discontinued. They may need to tear down everything and start over. I've tried scheduling the dates, it takes 3-6 months, and the most recent dates--over a year. They have been out on 4 separate blocks of dates. Terrible experience from the time we gave them a deposit. We waited 8 months and they still didn't have all the drawers for our Califonia Closet. Finally spoke with Greg the GM. He promised to resolve the issues and offered a $1525 discount because of all the problems we had had. I just received my credit card bill ,5 weeks after our conversation, and they charged me the full amount without applying the discount that I was promised.
