Their designer left in the middle of our job. After completion we realized that the room looks so unbalanced. Two desk system and one desk has 2 drawers and the second desk system has 9 large drawer system. We left the designing to the expert, someone we had used in the past and that system was beautiful so we trusted the expert and the final system is awful. They will not make any adjustments & we are forced to hire a 3rd party to fix what we paid an exorbitant amount to have a professional to design the room.

Update 7/27: No update. No one reached out or responded to my email or text. Business more concerned about responding in public and defending image than actually solving problems. Honest mistakes happen. No big issue. Lack of accountability is deafening. Original review 7/26 (shortened to comply with review length): Designs were good but implementation and client service leave much to be desired. I purchased a Murphy bed from these people. They installed it put it on my wall, it fell off the wall and collapsed breaking several pieces of the bed itself. This happened over two months ago. They were supposed to redo it and reinstall it today! According to them they cannot do it because of some lame excuse. They now cannot give me a date for install. Our designer, Lori, did a fabulous job as did our installer, Mario, and we are happy with the product. So, it's a shame that we cannot recommend California Closets to others due to poor customer service. When my husband went in for unexpected surgery, our bedroom and closet remodel project had to be delayed. I contacted California Closets to reschedule installation and was told we'd be charged the reschedule fee ($600.00!) even though my email was sent JUST TWO DAYS prior to the two-week reschedule deadline. Utilized California Closets for 2 bedroom closet remodels. Very comprehensive site visit by Maria Mizzau taking measurements, suggesting options, and providing feedback. Kept me informed throughout the manufacturing process. Installation started on schedule and completed on time. Installer was incredible : timely, kept site clean and orderly and always on time. Really happy with the result. Great service from start to finish.

We had a very positive experience working with California Closet for several units in our home. Product: We are very happy with the quality of the product. Designer: Our designer, Maria Mizzau was helpful and knowledgeable. She was able to visualize when we struggled to explain what we wanted. She was responsive and very nice. Installers: The installers (Antonio Aguilar & Alan) were great too.

I originally contacted California Closets on 5/27, emailed Cynthia a photo of the wall closet that I wanted, and was given an in-home appointment for 6/7 with Amy. Amy was efficient during the visit showing me colors and a sample of the composite they use. A week later (6/14), we met on zoom to discuss the design, which was presented as a cad drawing online. The owner Joy got involved and really stepped up. She treated us in a very professional and courteous way. She listened and made things right. Everyone makes mistakes but Joy took the time to correct the mistake. I will recommend this business.
