California closets installed a great wall/entertainment/toy storage unit and separate Murphy bed and bookshelf unit that allowed us to convert a bedroom into a family playroom and TV room and get all of our two kids toys out of the living room! And a super comfy Murphy bed for when we have guests! Such a great solution to preserve guest room options, while expanding our living space! Very happy with the final product! We had a great experience working with California Closets and Maria. We met with Maria prior to closing on our new home, and were looking to design three different closet spaces (master, linen and a jacket/shoe storage closet). With the help of the super-useful 3D software, Maria was able to show us exactly what she was thinking would best work with our space. Super happy. Interviewed several companies and California Closets was great, but more than that, you MUST ask for Stacey. She is just a delight.....knowledgable, pleasant and super professional. Cannot imagine ever going anywhere else again!

I recently contacted California Closets for an estimate on a closet. Designer came out did the design everything seemed to be going fine, however than the wheels fell off, I contacted their manager Janet Hutchinson to get some further information and to see if some additional extras could be added to the closet design and see if a discount could be negotiated. I hardly ever write reviews, but since there's only one other at this time and it's very negative I thought I ought to weigh in on California Closets Tribeca. I just finished with them on a large walk-in master bedroom closet. I had a great experience from start to finish. My designer's name is Stacy Skolsky (sp?) and I very highly recommend her. Knowledgeable, professional, responsive and patient with my wife's and my dozens of nits and changes. She came up with a smart design and then worked with us to perfect it. The work... read more

Lori came out on time and she did a great job. She took measurements and designed out closets right there on the spot. She had great ideas and designs. She is very easy to work with and my wife and I were very impressed. Lori was very personable and friendly. They were able to schedule an install just 5 days later. The two men came out our house, and installed the closets very quickly. They knew what they were doing. California Closets might by a little pricier than other places but you get what you pay. Hubby and I stopped in when I decided I needed our closet to be better organized. We were greeted immediately and told to look around. They have many closet displays for every room in the house. They did not have any designers on hand at the time we were there, but were given an book and told to call for an appointment with a designer. Not sure if we will be purchasing from here, but will probably get an estimate.

California Closets came highly recommended which is why I did not question the work they do. Everyone that I came in contact with was nice and professional. HOWEVER after the installation when my husband got home from work he inspected the closet only to find 2 holes in the wall. I am not angry about the damage about about the business practice. They NEVER said anything to me about the holes or even asked how I would like them to proceed with repair. One hole is literally the size of a full hand extended out about 5 inches, ... read more

Updating once more and this is it. After all the crap this company put us through... It was one more thing with final billing. They charged a different car then they should have.... Not even sure where they got this card number... And also charged my other card that they were supposed to charge... Then told me it was an accounting error and would refund the one they weren't supposed to charge....
