This was my husbands first time visiting a Ruth Chris restaurant. We decided to have dinner at the RC uptown location on December 31st and then on to a Jazz spot a few blocks away. So first let me give a big KUDOS to our waiter Dom! Dom gave us the best customer service ever! He was knowledgeable about the menu, he was kind, checked on us and made suggestions for our meals. He really just made our experience great! The food of course was good but the service really enhanced our experience!

If you go to this location ask to be seated in Mikala's section. She was an amazing waitress!!! The bread and butter is amazing! AND the strawberry basil gimlet omg! Delicious!

We booked a private event for Christmas lunch and gift exchange at Ruth Chris's Uptown Charlotte location for our 18 employees. I can only say it exceeded all expectations. Working with Kathryn Bowhers on scheduling and coordinating the event was great. She made it so easy and was extremely pleasant to work with. Went to this location for lunch with my team from work and the experience was everything. Our waiter, Dom was fantastic!! He handled the table of 8 with ease. His customer service was bar none!! But that wasn't the best part - it was the amazing food! Everything was cooked to perfection and we all enjoyed ourselves immensely! I will definitely be back for date night and I'm asking for Dom!!

The rating would easily have been 3 stars but unfortunately for a $400 bill for 2 people this really was a mediocre experience at best for that amount of money. Arriving just a few minutes early for a Wednesday evening dinner reservation and there were no valet parking attendants. No problem, we waited patiently in the car for 5 min before my wife went inside to inquire about valet parking. Was told to wait and someone will be right out. My wife and I attended the Wilmington location. It was our first and only visit. We were in Wilmington for our daughter's wedding. We wanted to get her a gift card so they could have the experience. We are working class. This was huge for us. After waiting thirty minutes for our food, we heard a crash behind us. The waiter informed us it was our food. I understand accidents happen. The worst experience I've had in quite some time. Ordered the Cowboy Ribeye and it tasted like I was eating a piece of the grille. ZERO seasoning or flavor whatsoever. Waiter never checked back until 10-15minutes into the meal instead prioritized rolling silverware over our experience. Not surprised to see the 3.9 rating at a place that used to be so good but clearly no longer is. May want to consider new management and rehire better staff. Place was a ghost town when we walked in at so maybe we should have taken the hint.
