I have used and been very happy with California closets and my designer . Today I happened to be in the bellvue area and stopped in. I was astonished that the women working with a client, never once said hello, acknowledged me in any way. I walked through the show room. Took pictures of ideas. Held a product to purchase but could not get the attention of the woman on the floor. Put the purchased i wanted back on the shelf. If I didn't want their product i would never again work with them.
I was surprised with 2 stars reviews from others! I had an amazing experience with California closet from the designer Jessica and her teammate! Highly recommended Jessica @ California Closet!
Julie Bennett was very professional to work with on the designs. One of the closet measurement was a bit off for installation. The installer Adam, Steven and Adrian were great. Adam got the spec done and came back to finalize everything the next day! I recommend this team!!
California closet did a great job on design and installation BUT customer service after you pay is another. We asked if someone could come and adjust the rods they were to far forward. They said they would have to charge us for a service call. We are in our 70's and standing on a ladder was not safe plus we spend a lot of money. So no stars to the manager of the Scottsdale store.

We LOVE our new closet!!! The team at California Closet was amazing from day one. We worked with Elena and Melissa through our process our order. They understood exactly what we wanted and we never felt any pressure to buy. In fact, I was clear that we were shopping around and they were just happy to be included in the search. Now as far a pricing, California Closet is NOT the cheapest. But I truly believe that you get what you pay for. I wish I had read the disappointing reviews BEFORE I went with California closets. I thought going with a business so well known, I would be treated with fantastic service. Opposite. They don't care. My rep was awful at follow up (also quite rude-as if I wasn't the CUSTOMER). They initially installed my closet the on opposite walls of how it was supposed to be. Then took their sweet time to fix their screw up. Pricing was ridiculously high. They try to sneak things in to the quote so make sure you ask for the entire breakdow... read more

This review is for California Closets' San Francisco operation. I had a horrendous experience with this company. While installing a closet system in my newly constructed, never-lived in condominium, California Closets' installer pierced a building pipe, and my home was deluged with water for nearly an hour (water to the entire building had to be shut off, inconveniencing other owners). The result was significant damage to floors, baseboards, and walls. My two expensive area rugs were ruined, and all of my bedding was soaked.... read more

Your building has unusual soft piping that curved in the walls making it very difficult for the installer to recognize through the dry wall using the pipe finder equipment that we use.
