I have used California Closets for 3 projects, 2 walk in closets & 1 reach in. All 3 projects turned out beautifully with no problems whatsoever. They are professional & reliable. I loved working with their designer Katie, so knowledgeable & helpful. She designed the perfect closet for me with beautiful graphics to show options & what to expect.

I hired California Closets to work on our modest master closets. After filling out the online inquiry I was put in touch with Katie Swinburne. Katie was very responsive and professional. I was struck with how many ideas she had for a really tight closet space. She listened to my needs and brought a tired 1980's space into a beautiful closet you would find on their website. WOW WOW WOW! Kristina was amazing to work with! I'm so happy with the outcome! She gave us multiple options and prices for each option. She measured everything that was in our closet and her layout/design was near perfect. We could have framed out a closet and added the inserts but decided to spend the extra money and put in this custom wardrobe. Worth every penny
Here's an update: LO AND BEHOLD, as soon as I posted my review, the very same day a very positive one appears. I'm guessing it was either the owner trying to distract from my original review or her asking a friend to make up one! Now, checking in, am so happy to see others have come forward to leave reviews of their own VERY BAD service from this franchise owner! DESPICABLE service and treatment!

I used the contact form to get a consultation. Karter Williams came out on Tuesday Oct 25. She promised the quote by Friday. The following week I left 2 message at the company. Still nothing. I post here on Yelp and get a reply from Sara S. and by her name it says "owner." Sara is not the owner, it turns out, but she says she will have Karter call me. No call. The closet is beautiful! But what we had to go through, in the process to get them installed.... NEVER AGAIN! We did not have a good relationship with Monica. She was really condescending and gaslight me several times. She even lied to me but since it was a verbal promise, I have no proof. We were told we would be contacted about scheduling... over two weeks went by and still nothing. Finally got on the schedule. We had our closet installed the first week of June. California Closets- my favorite closet company. I'm an interior designer and I use them for all my client projects. I started with my own closets, and after receiving the best experience, I'm confident to suggest them to all my clients. I work with Debra and she is the best addition to my "team"- she is fast, quickly replying and always ready with alternative options if needed. She follows all the time lines and always on top! I would give California Closets negative stars if I could. They have no idea how to run a business and provide high quality service. We are over 3.5 months into a project that was supposed to take 1 week. I get that there are supply chain issues. We started finalized design, signed contract, and ordered our products in early May. As of late Oct, still not complete and we've had numerous delays and products / pieces 'Not ordered' or 'Missing'. These people are a joke. Spend your money elsewhere.
We wanted closets for our garage and California Closets delivered! We worked with Tannaz with the design and she was very friendly and informative throughout the process. I had many iterations and each time she patiently revised for us. On the day of installation, the installers were very detailed and professional. I can tell that each and every one of them really take pride in what they do and they made our garage look fabulous. I am very happy with the outcome.
