Did well on the design, but appears extremely expensive. They have HUGE mark ups. Just can't recommend a company that overcharges to the maximum, in my opinion. I verified the cost of goods of our project at approximately $3000-$4000 and they wanted to charge over $13,000. Granted that did include installation.

I had a consultation appt w/Natalie and she cancelled day of...offered us to do a virtual appt., and measure ourselves! I declined a virtual appt, and asked her to schedule us as soon as possible. She never did, and never returned a phone call or text to date- it's been almost 2 months. Very unprofessional. Someone else earned our business!

Our designer, Hailee, was fabulous. She took careful measurements and came up with a plan then came up with an even better plan. Everything is scheduled and you know when they are coming and how long they plan for the work to take. Half payment up front and second half when completed to your satisfaction. Installers were very professional and cleaned up everything. Communication is excellent. Highly recommend.

Thank you to Jenny at California Closets from assisting me from beginning to end. She made this not only a painless process but an enjoyable one. We hired California Closets to assist in the design of our master bedroom closet remodel. Molly came to our home within a few days and provided us with several design options, along with pricing. She was very professional and helpful. We were able to move up our install date by several weeks, and had a very easy install. We are very pleased with our new closet and will use them again.

This was the worst experience I have had with a business. The salesperson Angel was unprofessional, rude. and not helpful. We had to sign multiple contracts because the first ones were not correct. When we got the closet installed they were missing pieces and not enough shelves. She was at our house and we told her how many we needed. When we asked to talk to the supervisor multiple times to see what they could do since it was missing pieces, we were told " I don't know what you think that's going to do I already gave you a ... read more

Everything was great until the installation. Poor craftsmanship...none of the floating shelves are level and they aren't flush with the wall. We told the installer and he said there is nothing he could do. Built in office has exposed screw holes and incomplete caulking left gaps between the wall and desk. Very disappointing. I paid for professional installation and did not receive it.

Look out! In November, California Closets' installer drilled a hole into my building's main water pipe, flooding my bedroom. My mattress, box spring, Serena & Lily rug, BR chair and other decor - hand-picked by my interior decorator - were ruined beyond repair. The cost of the damage, combined with putting everything back together again, is an estimated $50,000. My apartment was uninhabitable for over a month.
