We worked with James Y. on our office remodel & closet plans. We had to put the final contract on hold due to needing to finish some other renovations first, but James was so helpful and responsive. He worked with us both for the in-home estimate and with Zoom consultations. He was very personable and had great design ideas. It has been a pleasure working with him. When we're ready to go forward with built-ins, it will definitely be with James & California Closets.

We have used California Closets several times in a few different homes. We love working with Michelle, as she is responsive and able to create a design that fits our needs. We just turned a guest bedroom into my home office and Michelle combined storage, beauty and function. Im so happy to have a place for everything. I had Lisa come out today and show me different scenarios. She was great, creative and understood exactly what I was looking for. I loved that she was able to show me various designs. She designed a beautiful armoire for me that I hadn't even thought of. Thank you Lisa!

We had several built-ins installed. The design process was great, and the media center is perfect. Was the install without any issues? No. But they resolved the problems. Are they going to last 50 years? Probably not. But we're quite happy with the result.

Scheduled an in-home consultation 6w prior to closing on my new home desirous of a closet design to match my needs. Received email confirmation and phone confirmation per designer. No show on day of appointment? Called with understanding that emergencies happen. Was told appointment was canceled- no further details given- no apology, no solution. Asked to reschedule and I declined. I've learned to see unreliability and unprofessional as precursors to a regretful encounter. Do your research. There are many companies that are ... read more

Overpriced for the quality you receive. Terrible install with damage to the closet panels. Very bad communication and they made cancellations to our scheduled appointments the night before the appointment " because the product had not arrived." The frustration level just to get this project completed and repaired took 1 year of my time and dozens of emails! Don't spend your money on it.

We needed a new closet and quick!! (Our move in date was approaching). California Closets made it happen! We had a pleasant experience with our designer Sarah. She listened to our needs and came up with the perfect solution for our tight, oddly shaped walk in space. Installation took less than one day and it was handled very professionally and clean! The closet turned out wonderfully! Very happy with it.
