Quality is there but not the service. They want your business but could care less once you pay them. I never got a call back from designer Nick. Nor from the GM Chris? There were huge mess ups which I hear is VERY COMMON. The two times they came there were huge mistakes.

After several days of back and forth emails, California Closet came through with a compromise. The installer, Brandon, returned to lift the shelf. The shelf was lifted with some damage to our wall. And since the entire unit could not be lifted without significant damage to the walls, the bottom of the unit does not have the same finish as the rest of the pantry. I elevated the rating to 3 (from 1) because Brandon took responsibility, apologized, was respectful and came up with the best solution for the situation. In the end ... read more
Excellent experience with CA closets. The just built our walk-in. The whole process was fantastic. Our designer (Beckett) was helpful, creative, and highly responsive. She helped us check every box we wanted to check - and the result is even better than we imagined. The installers (Mauricio and Edwin) were great. Courteous, respectful of our home, efficient, problem solvers, and really helped explain things clearly as we went along. Their follow-up afterwards was strong. Highly recommended.

I am usually too lazy to write reviews but California Closets has earned my 5 stars. We've now had two incidents of finding out our 3-year-old or a friend climbed up onto the built-ins and they didn't budge...no damage to kids or walls. The built-ins are high quality, design process always considerate of our functional needs but attuned to style considerations, and communication is consistent. All encounters with designer, installers, etc. have been highly professional.

I am now using the most beautiful office space that California Closets installed for me!! Actually, Jesse and Giovanni literally installed it!! And 2 better workers, professionals and people, you could not find! They were always on time, artists at their job, so pleasant, respectful and want to keep them as our friends now!!

Used them in another state and they were great. This franchise offers poor quality, high price, and unreliable installation. We can't even get them to return to correct their errors. Use someone else.
I worked with Julie who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She came to my house and saw our space and made some great suggestions and solutions!

Absolutely horrible service. Called California Closets as my brother is looking to have all closets done, an office created and an entertainment unit. They sent out a woman named ilze She could not take the lead on the project, her designs were horrible and could not give my brother what he wants which is very simple. Very disappointed as I recommended them to my brother. She asked my brother if he could take out the old shelving himself. My brother was appalled since he is having all his closets remodelled and this comment ... read more

Don't move if u buy California Closets. Purchased from.New Jersey, brought the wardrobe when I moved to California. When I asked for help reconstructing the wardrobe, they refused. NOT RATING California performance.z
