Built-in bookshelves with bottom cabinets project took over 2 1/2 months longer than quoted to complete: Incorrect colors were brought at the first installation date, along with missing cabinet fronts. At the second installation date to fix the color issue (white molding was brought initially instead of the black to match the rest of the design), the cabinet fronts were still missing. Leah Moon was super helpful, developing options to meet our desires and her interior design capabilities were outstanding! work looks fabulous and materials are highest quality. highly recommend!
They installed my closet without the drawers 2 weeks ago even though they said they would have everything ready that day. After many calls to the store, customer service and the designer they get back to me the next day and say the shipment is delayed. My problem is that 2 weeks later no updates unless I reach out repeatedly. Still no drawers and half my closet is spread around my room. Poor customer service after spending $20,000 on a closet!
Please read this review if you are considering hiring California Closets or its sister company Lavish. We have used them in New York and Texas for multiple bedroom closets, master closets, and bathrooms. What they do well: 1. Design. The studio and the employees are very well trained in design and being able to create a mock up to help you visualize what your closest or vanity will look like. Jenny helped me design our new closet and shelving, she was knowledgable, helpful, listened to my ideas and gave her opinion which was much appreciated. Great communication and customer service and she even came at the end to see how it all came out. Highly recommend!
Everything about our experience was excellent! From our sales consultant to the installation crew to the quality of the materials used, we could not be happier. Linda (sales consultant) even found an issue with our build that the contractor missed. That saved us a lot of headaches down the road!

The one star is for the level of expertise the designer had. The store my husband and I walked into and fell in love with California closet products was at Downtown Summerlin. We immediately set up an appointment. The designer who came out was not helpful in giving me options. I told him that I wanted my closets to look like the show rooms, give me examples of what I can do. What I get is an IKEA look alike closet!
