To say we are delighted with this company is an understatement. We had quotes from two competitors (Closet Factory and Closet World) and hated their overbearing, pushy sales women/designers. Closet World was only interested in price (she kept ringing her "boss" to get clearance to give us bigger and bigger discounts, which certainly didn't fool us), whilst the lady from Closet Factory spent the entire time bad-mouthing her competitors, and talking about how only their company produced "custom" closets, which is, of course, a... read more
Sue designed 3 closets for us in our new condo. The final work was better than the drawings and the installation was prompt and professional. The materials are much better than other closet design companies. Although the price was slightly higher than the comparable competition, the final product is much better. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Do not use this franchise. I ordered my master bedroom closet in October 2014 for install in February of 2015. They came and were missing parts and one door was inverted so needed to order another. We are only in Scottsdale during the winter. We left mid April and still did not have completed project. We are back and they scheduled an appt. to complete this morning between 8:30 and 9:30. Deciding to work with California Closets was a colossal mistake. Another family member recommended them based on a project they had done about 3 years ago. We decided to go with just a smaller hallway bookshelf unit before committing to the bedroom closets and rec room. On the first appt. the designer didn't show up and we had to call her several times ourselves to reschedule. I have been working with Cali closets for a few years now and they never disappoint. They are thorough and patient and always make sure I am satisfied with the end product. They just completed a hallway wall unit installation that is beyond my expectations and shortly they will install a new master closet/dressing area. Thanks to the very professional Erin for her guidance and Megan for her tremendous support.
The vertical panels survived a flood. All looks good and survived contrary to a closet done in the same space by The Closet Factory where the bottoms of the vertical panels split and shred. This product is worth the money.
This review is for the sliding door store inside California Closets in Kahala Mall. After checking out everything at the home expo on Oahu, I went to kahala mall and bought and installed a sliding door from Patrick at this store. For Great Customer Service, Quality Work, and a Great Experience I HIGHLY recommend California Closets.
