Shaun, our consultant, was terrific. She listened to us and patiently helped us draw up the perfect plans. Installation was done quickly and professionally.
We think Monika Kerstens, who did the design work, and Brian Hickok, who did the installation, were both absolutely fabulous, really good at what they do, and highly competent. We could not have been more pleased with their efforts.
Evie MacFarlane is the best! They made the most efficient possible use of limited space.
We started the design with Disa, the designer from the Westlake store, who's very patient and worked with us comprehensively and thoroughly. She was very responsive and always answered our questions promptly. The design of our master bedroom's dressers is kind of "unique" - back to back series of drawers with a pullout shelves to be used as a desk, and was installed on a stepped-up floor. We moved into a new home and Mindy came around to assess our needs. Literally, I cleaned up and unpacked while Mindy walked around and check the closed areas of the house that I indicated that I would like to have shelves in. She informed me of what would look best in which closets and drew me a picture/sketch, so that I would have an idea before signing on. I hesitantly walked into California Closets because I assumed the closet of my dreams would be out of my price range. The showroom is small but you get a good sense of the endless custom options available to you. I met with Michelle and she was really helpful and knowledgable. A few weeks after visiting the showroom I decided to have Michelle come out to my house and take measurements of my master bedroom closet. I highly recommend Andrea Knox. My new, beautiful, custom-built closet was finished in only six days from my initial consultation! I am so happy that I chose CA Closets. The quality is great and installation was seamless.
Mindy was wonderful to work with throughout many projects in our previous home and current home. She has created functional and beautiful designs for us to enjoy. Master closets, laundry room storage, walk in pantry and a media center unit. She has a great personality and really creates spaces that you will use. We totally recommend her through California Closets and can't wait to use her for future closets in our home! :)
This is a review for Heather Mancini. Although we didn't go with CA Closets, I highly recommend Heather. She was a true professional and creative designer representing her field. She was attentive and thoughtful in designing my walk in closet. It boiled down to price. Otherwise, I would have gone with her in a heartbeat. Ask for Heather personally if you're looking to have work done here. You will not be disappointed!!
