I don't usually write bad reviews. However, my experience has been absolutely horrible so far. This review is just for the Chicago location. The customer service has been horrible! I had a designer come out to my new home over three weeks ago. I explained that I would like to have this project done asap (before move in date) and if they couldn't do that to let me know so I can go with another company. This is the second time we've used California Closets and we were not disappointed in the least! Kathy Delaney and her amazing team are top-notch and the quality of their products is simply the best. Kathy is always spot-on with her advice and has incredible vision for the available space. And the amount of space these closets allow you to get is unbeatable! High prices and you are paying more for franchise fees they have to pay for. Better deal with a small local company. Also had a friend that used them. They did not recommend them, lots of problems with customer service.
This is not your typical 5-star review since we didn't hire California Closets - but we should have. Preston Mitchell, one of the Palm Springs CC resident closet designers, spent hours with me, then both my husband & me, preparing & revising a closet design for a large but unusually shaped walk-in closet with a sliding door entrance. Dawn was terrific to work with and explain things. I had a very simple project, but she made it even easier and I appreciated her willingness and patience to answer a few questions along the way. The installer that came to my house was excellent, efficient, and appeared to do great work. I'm very happy with the entire experience. Ive had Cal Closets put in a previous closet for me, and I look forward to working with Dawn and the rest of the "team" on future projects as they come. Thank you for everything!
Donna I. was very helpful in assisting me to select what would work best in my closet and a color scheme. Matthew was my installer and he arrived on time and was very quick with the installation. I absolutely love my new closets!
So late with review. What can I say other than they did a remarkable job from start to finish. For the moment I walked in I was treated with respect. I don't have fancy clothes or own an expensive home but to me my home is my castle and I have a disability so clothes are the last thing on my mind. My designer Ashely was just so amazing, very easy to work with and we came up with a great modern design within my budget.
