Watch out for HUGE, sneaky hidden charges! I was given a price, then AS I WAS PAYING, was told I needed to prep the closet space myself ... they don't remove old fixtures! Isn't that like a plumber who's willing to install a new toilet, but wants you to make sure you remove the old one, before he gets there? Also ... they do closets, but not closet DOORS! HANH? They subcontract all of that work out. Not included in their estimate. I don't know ... from me, they get a solid F. Their business style borders on fraudulent.

System tear-out is included as an option for $200, and is always discussed as part of the scope of work. Fabulous! From meeting Jaelyn at the showroom all the way to completion of installation, it all went smoothly and customer service was terrific. The scheduling of installation was friendly and easy. The installers, Paul and Shane were friendly, efficient and left the place clean. Jaelyn has been great in following up to make sure everything is to our satisfaction. Kudos to everyone!
Everything about my experience is positive. Melinda was a joy to work with. Patient, knowledgeable and caring. We got everything we wanted and within our budget. The installers were excellent. The room we had fitted out for a walk-in was nowhere near square but looking at the install you would never know. They were polite, fast, efficient and very skilled. Great experience! 5 stars! We recently had California Closets install a new custom office in our home. Everything from design to install was done with the highest level of professionalism. Dawn Powell provided us with a beautiful design. She assisted us with the selection of our materials/hardware, and did an amazing job of integrating all of the options we wanted in our office space. This was my third time engaging California Closets Hawaii (they had previously done my other bedroom closets and laundry room) . Quality product and excellent service. Sarah W. was really great at helping us maximize an awkward shaped closet. She works really quickly and was very familiar with all of the CC products (and prices). If I needed to design another space with CC I would use Sarah again, she was wonderful.
I had a great experience with California Closets. James Paris, our designer, came up with a simple but elegant solution for closets in our three bedrooms. He emailed me the designs within a day or so of being here, and then fine-tuned them with my feedback. The cost was surprisingly reasonable for a project of this size. He also gave me some very good design tips about how to paint the closet walls to make the shelving system stand out even more.
