Our new closets are just perfect and we even have extra room to spare. The installers were right on time and cleaned up very well after they were done. The closets were not bad before we started but we need them to be more organized and functional and that is exactly what we got. The master, children's rooms, guest room, garage and pantry were all done and have made a big difference to our family. Will help with resale too so we could not be happier.

We bought a new home in Orange County and needed to get some closet work done on the Master Walkin Closet and 4 other closets. After reviewing the California Closets website, I was impressed with the gallery of photos of previous projects and called and made a design consultation appointment for April 7 Friday for 2 pm. My wife and I are US citizens working abroad in Hong Kong so we only had 3 days on our trip with a full schedule. The price is not cheap and it is a nightmare to have a project complete. The designer LEAH SIMKINS is very unprofessional and not very good with details. Honestly their installers know more than the office staff and designer. The quality is cheap and it would look okay in a pic, but as you use any of it, you can see the quality deteriorate rapidly. I would never ever do any project with California closets. The staff is so confusing and unreliable. Oh, and their scheduling another terrible story.

We love our new closet designed by Whitney! She was so professional! First, she set up an appointment to come by my house to talk about what I wanted and to inventory and measure the closet. The first meeting took about 1.5 hours as she wanted to know what my needs and desires were. She is a very upbeat person and fun and easy to work with! If I could give zero stars, I would. We gave them a down payment to hold a particular finish for our closet. We came back later to get our closet done, and they jacked up the price and would not honor their commitment. When they realized we were not going to do business with them after all, we began to receive the absolute worst customer service. I had a very good experience. Cindy was very helpful, kindly made two trips to my house and got everything we wanted; and it was correctly done. Earl, the guy to who came to install was wonderful. He was tidy, efficient and meticulous. He worked as quietly as he could, was pleasant and respectful and didn't do a lot of talking - only when I asked him something. The quality of a company is often reflected by how well it responds to mistakes it makes. I would give California Closets a grade of A for this. After new cabinets were installed in our home, upon close inspection, we found several flaws, a few significant. When we contacted the company, their reps responded immediately, graciously, apologetically, and with the appropriate urgency about making the fixes ASAP. And the fixes were made ASAP. Just used this company . Everything went as planned . Impressed with the quality of install and materals came on time and cleaned up after the job was done. You pay a little more , But California closets is well worth it . You get what you pay for. They call back unlike another company we were looking to use before California closets
