No complaints with the product or the installation; however, after having gone to several other companies to price out and compare, this outfit was the highest price by no less than 24% - all good IF the customer service was THAT much better .... which it not only is NOT; it is some of THE WORST you could POSSIBLY receive if you are willing to shell out the money. Well I sold my home in a Hobe Sound & I was going to rent because all this house stuff was just to much. However when I saw what rents were I bought a condo in Melbourne, Fl with an ocean view. The price was good so I can't complain about the condition but I couldn't put my things away because every surface is a big mess. I moved into a new house and worked with Hayley on several home projects. She is very patient, listens to what you need and really cares about making you happy with the final product. She worked with me on the price so I could stay within my budget and had great ideas when I wasn't sure what I really wanted. Thank you Hayley for all your hard work!!! Our sales associate Staci was pushy and uncooperative. Our original appointment was scheduled for 1/22 and (understandably) rescheduled due to a snowstorm for the following week. As a result our initial consultation was three days before the end of the month and the end of a promotion. Staci continually reminded us that we would lose the promotion opportunity within 72-48 hours, rather than working with us to insure we were comfortable with our design, it met our needs and was within our price point. I was skeptical about the cost and value of attempting to renovate our tiny closet, overflowing with shoes and "stuff". I am pleased to report I was so wrong. Lilly Nagy did a fabulous job of design. Manon is a genius and is really nice to work with. She designed several spaces for us- garage, master closet, mudroom, pantry, etc., and all of them turned out perfectly-- well beyond our expectations. She really listened to what we wanted. Excellent design and customer service. We had an estimate done by a competitor that was supposed to have been much cheaper, but the overall bid was almost the same amount, and the quality of the design and materials were not even close. Working with California Closets was so easy and actually fun! Tessa was a tremendous help to my wife and I when planning our garage closets/shelves. Additionally the price compared to other vendors was way better even though California Closets were the only ones that offered different designs/colors for the same price. I definitely recommend California Closets to others looking to get some closets/shelves installed.
Initially my review would have been 5 stars, however, we need a repair & went thru the correct channels to schedule warranty work (took them 2 weeks to schedule the appointment of installing a new handle for our murphy bed).. then the technician never showed up & didn't even bother to call. I've called the office manager twice (during office hours) and didn't receive a call back either time. For as $$$$$$ as California Closets are, I expected them to stand behind their work & warranty.
