A truly 5-star experience! Susanne Nielsen was our Design Consultant. She came out to look at the space under our stairs where we wanted to install a semi-custom storage solution. She was friendly, knowledgeable and made the entire design process quick and easy. She made some great suggestions and modeled out several options for us to chose from. To begin with it was a pleasure to work with Donald. The project was a full home office and a pantry. We enlisted 4 companies to work with us for the design and proposal process. One company said they could not do the project up front. Two of the companies provide their design on paper. Donald worked with their computer design software and provided the proposal and showed us exactly what the project would look like on the computer in 3 dimension. Kudos to Tracy Anderson at California Closets for thinking outside the box and designing a functional space in our 1920s narrow closet. I did not want to take down a wall, which would have made access to the closet so easy but also would have destroyed the original configuration of the room. Instead, Tracy made many different proposed configurations with the design computer program before we found one that is perfect. Installation was simple and quick. I am so happy with the result!

Cara is AHHHH-MAZING! We used her for two different homes and both she knocked out of the park! She has a great eye, is lovely to work with and makes the whole experience easy from beginning to end. And California Closets is run like a well oiled machine! Installation was flawless. The team did such a great job. They were so clean and respectful. I can't recommend CC enough!
This experience was hands down the best in my home renovation project. Debbie Royal, my consultant, took her time to study both my home and gain a sense of my style and direction and made strong recommendations (paint, hardware, carpets, and material) to help me realize the vision. I recently bought a home in Curtis Park and needed custom closets. I called Calif Closets and was assigned Heather King. She came out and spent hours with me designing my closet. She listened closely to what I wanted and then designed it. My home is quirky and so the closet was not easy but she made it happen. She even worked out a discount and an upgrade for me. It has been like pulling teeth working with this company. Maybe they think they can just coast on the big name national reputation of California Closets but it's a small island and referrals can be important. They take days to respond to emails for simple yes/no questions. They took my deposit 2 weeks ago and still i have not been scheduled for the build. Maybe they don't care about me because it's a small job? Never just had my emails and calls ignored before..I am still a paying customer who has really not asked much beyon... read more

In our initial in-person consultation, Cynthia Binski quickly grasped our needs and desires in connection with our complete garage remodel (painting, flooring, cabinetry, etc.), and her overall professionalism, excellent design, and attendant 3-D modeling won us over after soliciting a number of other companies and their designs and estimates.
