I give Nicole, my design consultant, 5 stars and everything that followed. Nicole came to my apartment and measured the entire room and then sat with me on her laptop while we put together a rough draft of what I was looking for. I didn't have time to finish (I wish I had known they would do all of this on the first appt date!) so I went to meet her at the store to finish. We used California Closets for our son's nursery and were very happy. Also happy with the new foyer install - minus the one drawer that was designed to open into the hooks, according to designer's measurements; that the installer didn't notice when he installed it (we caught the error). However, we are sorely disappointed in the product delivery for the largest install of a bedroom (a big boy room with two closets). We chose Adriatic Mist, which looked gray on the sample. Had a great experience throughout the whole process. Scheduled a consult with designer Michelle Gillespie for our master walk in closet and loft area. She incorporated everything we wanted and more in both locations. The installers, Juan Hernandez and Emmanuel, did a wonderful job with the installation. We are very pleased with our experience with California Closets in Westlake Village. We worked with Patricia Sendejas who worked closely with us to create two wonderful designs, an integrated wall-bed for a bedroom and and two beautiful bookshelves around a fireplace in our family room. Patt professionally managed the project from design through a flawless installation. Their customer service is outstanding. Deepest thanks for a great experience! We highly recommend them!
I can't say enough great things about Cara and California Closets. She came to our home on multiple occasions, had great suggestions and recommendations and kept us focused on making the best decisions. We had 6 different installations and they all came out great. We also appreciated the installation team: on time, courteous, clean and finished ahead of schedule. I found Cara on Yelp and want to pass along what a great find she was. The best!!
Tina was absolutely INCREDIBLE! She came out to my house and spent two hours with me designing the closet right there! She worked with me that very day and designed pretty much everything right away. She was thoughtful with what I envisioned and drew something up that I was far better than anything I could have imagined. She spent an extraordinary amount of time measuring and planning so that every inch of space in our closet would be used wisely. This review is NOT specific to the Westlake store. The Santa Barbara store is closed. This for the California Closets manufacturing. Ordered a $10,000 closet system in September. Waited until October 15 for installation. The sales person and install crew were great to work with. The closet system came with incorrectly sized and damaged parts. The next install date was set for today over two weeks later. Get a call--sorry the wrong color drawer was sent. Waiting for another install date. I would look for another company to us... read more

We were in the need for garage cabinets. We receive two quotes from companies specializing in garages. Neither of them left us overly impressed with the exception of them both saying we are not your typical "closet cabinet company". They both gave me the idea by their insults to make me check put California Closets. I am glad we did. Not only did I find the service to be far superior but the product outcome was phenomenal.
