My AC was not blowing cold air so I got a diagnostic check thru Costco. Rep called next day to set appt and tech arrived on time with no hiccups. Tech didn't seem to mind that I followed him around for the inspection and asked highly detailed questions. I also liked how David wrote a detailed estimate and was upfront about what it took to get cold air again.

This comment is specifically about business model and communications. I had scheduled appointment time. The order taker asked if a cancellation afforded an earlier service call would I be interested and of course I said yes, if a service person can come earlier, call me. The person did NOT say of course Mr Poper if you agree and we are unable to reach you we will cancel your scheduled appointment as well. Would you agree to such an arrangement? I would not have. The heating went out on 2/6/20. Technician was out the same day and performed a diagnosis and stated the blower motor needed to be replaced. Luckily, we had a home warranty and they sent out a technician to perform a diagnostic also. The tech said the blower motor was fine and the unit actually needed a new PCB board. The board was replaced and the heating works perfectly fine now. The final inspection of my newly installed complete Lennox HVAC system was just completed by the City of HB inspector. He was very impressed with the installation and the extra's AH&A added to the job to make the result clean and professional. He said its the cleanest intsall he's seen. I purchased the system through Costco to take advantage of the great promo they were running. I went through Costco to have Associated Heating & Air install AC in my condo unit. The process from selecting equipment, to installation and finally permitting through the City of Garden Grove could not have been any smoother or more professional. After initiating my inquiry through Costco, they called within 24 to set up an appointment. There sales representative explained the various options and help me select the right unit for my home. They qouted over $1000 to replace a $100 part that took 20min. to replace. There price repair chart read $600 to replace a capacitor, Wow. No work was by done by them, craziest prices I have ever scene. Go elsewhere.

Not a fan with the way these guys do business & here is why. After having a water leak, I figured out I had a leaky drip pan under my coils. The pan had rusted through from being old. Knowing the coils were just as old I decided to replace them knowing they would come with a new drip pan. New coils, new drip pan. Super strait forward. I called Associated Heating & asked them how much it would cost to replace the coils. They show up without the right parts and if you buy your own filter or maintenance kit they won't install it, even if you have no problem paying for labor. Lastly, my filter/maintenance kit costs $149. They want $350 for theres. The tech called his boss and I could hear them talking. They still wanted to do the tune up but leave me with a dirty filter.

We have been customers of Associated Heating & Air for years and they have always made us feel like extended family. We purchased from them and had them install our furnace, air conditioner, and ducting. We have had a maintenance plan with them for years.
