Juan was just hear at my home in Tustin to complete a six-month scheduled maintenance on my heating and air-conditioning system. Juan was friendly, efficient, thorough and extremely professional. He reviewed with me afterwards in great detail what he had accomplished and gave me a written record of the same. I recommend this company highly.

I've had the pleasure of coordinating with Associated Heating & Air for a complete re-do of balancing the air through the vents as well as a new furnace and thermostat. Niko came out for an initial walkthrough before giving a quote. He came back on another day to do a final walkthrough to make sure everything included in the quote was what needed to be done, and take measurements/pictures before they start working on it the next day. I've used them at my office and at home. There was a reason I was not happy with them at my office and stopped using their services. I recently tried them for my home and they came out and charged $250.00 and missed some things. Including a PVC pipe that was still clogged and the service guy didn't suggest what I did with the next guy and that is disconnect the current path and drill through the wall and make it work! Felt like a scam. They charge a $90 diagnostic fee which I guess is fine. But when he said it needed recharging he told me it was just a flat $290 fee for the service and the refrigerant regardless of how much they put in. I have a small unit that takes 5 lbs max so I knew that was way overpriced. He said he would knock off $50. I said I could only really justify paying 200 and even that felt high. Then he said he could lower it to 200 plus the 90 diagnostic fee. So we're back at 290. Told him 200 total and that's it. He agr... read more

I wish I had read Yelp reviews before contacting Associated. $700 later and we still don't have cool AC. I think the tech either used substandard parts or was pushing for me to replace my 10 year old AC unit. In other words nothing has changed and my AC is acting just like it did before he supposedly "fixed" it. I was ripped off. And there would be NO WAY I would ever let Associated repair my AC or Heating again. I never write reviews. But I joined Yelp to make sure I commented on how BAD Associated is. EXPENSIVE! These guys are sooooooo awesome!!! They installed new a/c and heater for us a few months ago. It was a difficult install due to circumstances beyond their control but they did an amazing job. Everything worked perfectly until a bird somehow dropped a piece of fruit into our vent and it jacked up our heater. These guys came out on one hours notice and fixed it for free. Highly recommended recommend them!!! Amazing service!!!!

My A/C is blowing warm air. The technician arrived and determined that we must have a freon leak but couldn't determine where it is.....he never bothered to check the coil in the attic which was very odd. He then recommended that I replace my entire system....a system that is 2.5 years old and still under warranty! If the leak is in the walls replacing the system will do nothing. Our 18th-century AC unit finally started to die, so we contracted with this business through Costco. We couldn't be more pleased. Shane and Mark went above and beyond simply installing by helping us improve the airflow around the house, relocating an electric plug, and so forth. They were knowledgeable, polite, and worked really hard. Being disabled by chronic illness, I have severe problems with the heat, so air-conditioning isn't just a comfort, it's a necessity for me to function. I talked to Erick a sales rep for Associated heating and Air, at the Tustin Costco Center since I was looking to replace a 20 year old 5 ton good working unit in my residence that was not very efficient ans was drawing excessive power.
