Called these guys to inspect my HVA and give it a tune up (recently bought the place and the HVAC was original). They were able to come out the day I called to inspect and service it. The man who came was very knowledgable and was ok to work with my at home work schedule (conferencing with clients). He pointed out some of the same things the home inspector pointed out but he also opened up the units and showed where the years of damage had shown. Our a/c went out the day after Memorial Day. The first placed I called could not get someone out until Friday. Then looking at the SCE website for rebates in case we needed a new a/c, I found Asoociated was an authorized installer and therefore I could get an installation rebate if I used them. I called Associated at about 5:00 that night. They apologized that they could not send someone that night but could the next day. I've only had good experiences with Associated Heating & Air. I've used them periodically for over 8 years for both my home and small business. From running new HVAC vents for a home addition, later upgrading our home HVAC system, to routine maintenance and repairs on a commercial unit, I've never had any problems. Always on time, professional and reasonably priced for us.

My review is along the lines of those prior. We had two service calls--the first to diagnose a broken forced air heater, to which they installed a transformer but after installing it and putting on the thermostat it doesn't work and only blows cold air. We asked a second time to come out to fix, and they proceeded to only charge us another $150 to diagnose but not to fix unless we called out for another service visit! Outrageous and poor, poor follow through on customer service. Buyer beware and get everything in writing.

I had problems with another company trying to sell my 75 yr old mother $21,000 worth of work on her house. I called Associated Heating and Air upon a friend saying they were "honest and reasonable." I spoke to the owner at Associated and he sent his technician first thing in the morning. Inspected everything and all she needed was a thermostat. We were in no need of a new furnace/duct work or a new A/C. Thank you Associated Heating and Air. I will forever be greatful for the good service. Chuck is the best!!! ;)

My experience was very good with Associated Heating and Air. We had a furnace installed by them 5 years ago and they were friendly, reliable and professional. We recently had an issue with the plenum and they came to repair it quickly and without charge even though it was just (by a few days) out of warranty. The manager followed up with me to be sure I was satisfied with the repair and their service. I would definitely use them again. I felt they they really cared about their company image and it showed.

Note to self... Read yelp reviews BEFORE choosing a company. We were referred to this company by neighbors who had a good experience and another who works for them. The guy who answered the phone was very nice and got us a tech out same day to fix our heater. I was informed that there would be a $90 minimum diagnostic fee. The tech arrived at 4:30 and was done by 6:30. Not super friendly, but was able to fix the heater. We hope it stays fixed after reading about the sub standard parts they install for people. This company did a decent job with the installation of the new HVAC system. However during the annual maintenance job, they had a substandard part installed. It was a filter that I found later after the installation to be not the correct manufacturer's specified part. It was actually smaller in size which would have let unfiltered air through and could have contaminated the system over time. I noticed the ONLY yelp review is horrible. NOT GOOD! I must say, I haven't been real impressed with them either and I have no idea why I've hung on for so long...the length of time it took to get a call back from John was completely unacceptable and then when he did show up, he was NOT prepared AT ALL.
