California closets is overpriced with zero customer service. The salespeople go to all locations around Las Vegas. Feel free to read my review from the other location. I dealt with both locations. Not worth a cent of your time and energy! Not what they used to be!
On Tuesday I went to the California Closets website and requested a free consultation to get some closets redone in my condo. Within 30 minutes of making the request I got a phone call. When I called back, I spoke to an extremely nice guy named Richard who was very helpful and scheduled me an appointment with Stephanie MacKnight for Thursday (today). California closets are good quality and versatile. Maria Mizzau provided excellent guidance and customer service from the beginning of the process till the end. She was on top of every detail , provided different alternatives, was open to accommodate our changes and ensured measurements were accurate and worked around our schedule for installation. California Closets did a great job designing and installing two clothes closets, a double computer desk, and garage cabinets for our North Las Vegas home several years ago; and a large built-in bookshelf, utility room cabinet, garage cabinets, and a tool wall for our Laughlin home. Fifteen years later, after one garage cabinet was damaged by a car driven by a friend who inadvertently hit and cracked one of its doors, a replacement was skillfully created and just installed. I could not recommend them more! (I don't normally write reviews, but they deserve all the business they can get!) I worked with Julie to design the perfect closets for the space I was working with. I learned that having a designer is invaluable because she knew exactly how to maximize the use of the space. Cesar, Jesse, and Kevin were very professional and courteous. Lea was my designer, and she was extremely helpful, knowledgable, creative, and took the time to answer all my many questions with warmth and grace. Be careful with their service contract, it's a trap, you will not get any compensation in the event of a problem. Under cover of the covid crisis (from 2020 and we are in 2023), their contract argued that all the hazards that you may suffer are not their responsibility, I did not see that when signing. In fact you have to sign the contract to have your order which has already taken you 1 or 2 months to prepare with the designer. Ronnie ( master installer) did a terrific job installing my entertainment center. He was on time, clean, professional, knowledgeable and quick! I highly recommend this company! Mgmt should be praising you day in and day out for the effort you put forth in your builds.
