STAY AWAY! California Closets is a disaster! The most disorganized, incompetent, mismanaged and dishonest company in the closet industry. We do not post negative reviews frequently, HOWEVER, after over 13 months of dealing with this company we have an obligation to post this review to warn others. I wanted my master bedroom closet to be organized and to maximize the small space I had. Ilene was very helpful and asked what I'd like to achieve and looked at my current set up and took into consideration the amount of clothes and shoes I had and offered some suggestions on how best I might organize my clothes after I had the new closet. I used California Closets for my laundry room and wine bar in bedroom and I am very pleased. There was a measurement discrepancy in the laundry room, but they fixed it and now we are loving it!
This was a great experience from start to finish! We did our kids reach in closets. Barbara was our designer and she listened to what we wanted and worked her magic to make it work! Would definitely use them again!

This company wow what a con. I would stay away and don't fall for these fake reviews. Scroll down to the bad reviews first because that's where the truth is. Even if you are rich you are better off going to Home Depot and buying a closet and hiring someone to install it. Swear to god. Working with this company was a Nightmare.

California Closets installed cabinets in my garage almost a year ago. The technician who installed the closets left without installing the handles on two of the closets. I have now followed up with California Closets at least six times over a four-and-a-half-month period to get someone out to finish the job, and I have gotten nowhere. I'm very disappointed with this service and wouldn't recommend it.
Working with Marissa Spencer from California Closets of the Texas Hill Country was an amazing experience from beginning to end. She was able to put our vision on paper and provide detailed drawings for us to review and revise. It was easy and fast and honestly a lot of fun! We just recently had California Closets install new primary bedroom walk-in closet and updated secondary closets. Luciano was our designer, was extremely patient with us as we dragged things out, and did an excellent job. We are very happy with the outcome. Our installer was also great and took time to answer questions at the end.
