Bad experience. They sent one person to do the installation of a bed room closet. I guess they figured how to cut costs.. The person dropped the door, broke an hinge and did not install it right and they had to redo it twice. This place has gotten worse. It took 30 days to fix things.

The showroom is lovely, but boy, the experience was not. The order took months and when install day came, doors had not arrived, mirrors were broken and measurements were off. They've been back four times to fix the various disasters and we still have a screw sticking out the wall in the hallway where the installer used a nail that was too long. Well let's start from the beginning. I used California closets in Florida it was so professional. I wanted to buy my grandchildren closet systems that they could grow with and have draws a valet system belt hook all the bells and whistles. Sadly they sent two people that never put a closet in before. !!! The woman that came and measured clearly doesn't have a clue of how to measure. It's a disgrace what they did !!! Satisfied! I asked California Closets and a competitor to give me ideas and estimates for a built-in desk system for my apartment in a retirement home. I needed additional work space for my desktop computer system, working papers, cabinets for my cameras and other hobbies, and places for tools and supplies. California Closets gave me a beautiful design and a reasonable price. They asked for half-down and half on delivery and allowed me to pay by credit card. I hired California Closets to install floor-to-ceiling shelving in my condo. The consultants accommodated my detailed design, and the installation was scheduled for five weeks later on Dec. 26. I moved everything out of the space; Because my place is small, everything I had to move out of the space had to be scattered all over the rest of my condo, making daily life very uncomfortable. My experience with California closets and Stephanie Gogan was a delight. My closet is so beautiful. It looks like a room addition in my home. The installers Ahmet and Mark were professional, tidy, and their combined chemistry was warm and entertaining. When I had a small misunderstanding about the shelf, there were no questions asked, and they fixed it immediately with no extra cost. Wonderful people!

Absolutely loved working with Coco and california closets! She was so detailed and patient with all my requests for our media room and wall bed. I highly recommend California Closets, they are more affordable than their competition. Ask for Coco as your design consultant when you go!
