Bonnie helped me out YEARS after our original install (closet in my son's room). I swore up and down that I didn't need hanging rods. My designer said I would want them eventually. Fast forward six years, I called Bonnie and asked for two hanging rods. She gave them to me FREE because it was all noted in my original design specs. I spent about $2,300 on a 90" x 24 credenza last year. Looked great but we tried to move it to put in a new floor we found the base was not attached properly and the base separated. I call them on Tuesday and sent a picture to ask for help but they said they could not send anyone until Friday. I explained we need it fixed sooner as we were doing our floors and it would only take 30 min to fix but they said that was the best they could do. I asked to have my sales woman call me but until now nothing. I expected better quality... read more

It took longer than I would have hoped to get an appointment to meet one of their designers, but the wait was worth it. Lylah spent quite a bit of personalized time with me to design two completely different wall to wall storage options in our den to choose from. She reworked the designs several times to give me different price options without hesitation or the judgement you might expect from "ultra high-end" establishments (as the yelp price range indicates, but IMO is a bit misleading). I will not review their work, as I never actually got that far. The initial customer service was so rude when i was trying to schedule an appointment, that I gave up...twice! I felt that if just scheduling an appointment was this troublesome, I was not about to invest in their work.

I had new HVAC equipment installed recently and one of the workmen accidentally broke a trim/face board of my beautiful California Closet. I contacted John Wenskunas in the Huntington Beach office, who sold me our system, and Bonny, the Customer Service Manager, asked me to bring in the broken piece. And, get this... while I waited and chatted with Leah & Theresa who manage their showroom, Bonny replaced my trim board with a brand new piece that was measured and cut exactly to the original dimensions! We used California Closets to design 4 of our closets over 12 years ago when we built our home. We loved the functionality and organization CA Closets gave us. A few years later, a friend convinced us to use another closet company for an additional closet. The result was so disappointing. Both the quality of the product, as well as the efficiency of the design, were both apparent with CA Closets. What an amazing product and amazing service! Sally Benyola is a great designer. She was wonderful at understanding what I wanted, narrowing down options, a d helping with color. My desk is beautiful, and we are working with Sally and Cal Closets again for an entryway piece.
