Charlene R was my designer. She took a very, very small space -- my daughter's closet with one of those old single rods across @ eye level, with a ton of wasted space above and below -- and turned it into a "step in" closet that my daughter just LOVES. Charlene combined the CA Closets' design guidelines with her own expertise to help me come up with the best possible design. We live in the Northpoint complex in East Cambridge and wanted to add a multi-purpose entertainment center to our loft condo. We've worked with California Closets before, but for this project we wanted a very creative designer with contemporary flare. Have used them elsewhere and was pleased so when moved to Westchester tried again. Very responsive and good design. A bit of a wait for 4 closets but done. Some items not as desired but extra for return visit. Some minor damage to walls also not addressed/ When I climber up to top there was a mess to clean up as well. Top shelf prices for decent design but not worth the headache. Just finished last 3 with Transform in New Rochelle/ Similar, maybe slightly less $$$, way better service and all.

I've used California Closets multiple times in different houses and while the designer was GREAT to work with and the installer good I was totally annoyed and surprised that when he asked about disposing of the metal railing and some wood that I would appreciate him leaving it at the front of the property since my trash company will pick up stuff left there and so will my village. WELL, surprise, surprise, it was left on the front porch! What am I to do with it there? I called and was told that the company doesn't dispose of... read more

I highly recommend California Closets! Not only did designer Georgina Islas assist us in designing a wonderful closet and office wall unit, she emailed me back the same evening and had a representative call me the very next day when we had a minor issue with the drawers in the closet a couple of years after the installation. The repairmen came the very next Monday and corrected the situation. You don't run across an organization that does quality installations AND that stands behind their work like this very often.

I love California Closets!!! I have owned 4 homes and have put California Closets in all of my homes. Jeri Lynn is a closet guru and she helps you come up with the best closet solutions for your needs. She came up with so many useful suggestions that made our closets even more fabulous. Sally Benyola has redesigned every closet in our house and has also created a built-in shelf unit for our living room and we could not be happier! She has shown us why she is one of the best California Closet designers in the country. We recommend her and the California Closet installers whole-heartedly. I worked with Chloe O'Keeffe while we were renovating our condo in back bay. We got new 3 closets in our 1 bedroom place. Chloe was super nice, super helpful and made the whole process incredibly easy. I would HIGHLY recommend california closets. Their configuration drastically improved the functionality of our closets. I moved into a new condo with limited storage, but fortunately it had a rather large walk in closet. It was critical that I maximized the efficiency of the closet. I worked with Michelle Crandall who was great - very skilled in designing solutions.. I never needed to go to a showroom.
