I hired California Closets to redo my master bedroom closets. For the price I was paying, I was expecting high quality and service. I am very disappointed with their service. For a relatively straight forward job, they had to come back 3 times to complete the install. My floors were damaged during the process and the workman ship was average. This is for the Oxnard location that I can't seem to find on yelp. Customer service is not up to par for the amount of money spent on my custom closets. I love my closets and am disappointed to have to leave a negative review. Do not use this company if you need their products in a timely manner. I ordered 2 replacement shelves over 3 weeks ago and was never contacted after payment. After following up a week ago and yesterday, I found out that the shelves still are not ready. I had a great experience with California Closets. My designer, Ellen, was such a amazing designer- very efficient and had great ideas. My space was difficult as it is an old house and the closet had to be built around wood moldings, radiators, etc. It was not an easy job, but Ellen did a fantastic job. We bought a new loft and wanted to have the closets done. The salesperson came, Branden Zimmerman, who was very knowledgeable and asked plenty of questions to make sure our needs were met. When they came to install the closet the installer told us that half the drawers were missing. Apparently 6 were damaged in transit and the 3 others were measured wrong. We downsized from a 2800 sq. ft. apartment to 1400 sq. ft. with little hope that enough closet space might be carved out to incorporate our belongings. California Closets was recommended to us. Specifically, Julie Fellers - the magician. She created a closet for us that is truly magical. I had a great experience with the crew and product at CA Closets in Modesto. Mindy was my designer and she was easy to work with. She helped me create a beautiful piece for my master bedroom as I was lacking storage. She was accessible via cell phone even after the initial sale stage which sometimes is hard to find. The crew that came to install were very detailed and cleaned up their own areas. I would totally use them again and recommend them to anyone in need.
We are very happy with our master closet with California Closets. Megan Vonachen, our design consultant was the consummate professional from the get go. Designing a master closet was daunting for us but Megan walked us through and made all the right suggestions to make the ideal closet for us. Turn around time was great, installation was smooth.
