Do not book a design consultation with this company - they will not show up! My wife booked two weeks in advance, and received email confirmation that "Rosa" would be at our house for 3:00 PM September 7th. At 4:00 PM we called all the various numbers to try to speak with somebody and find out what had happened - everyone leaves early on Friday I guess, nice work ethic! We are very pleased with our new closets designed and built by California Closets and Charlene Rudee. Charlene immediately understood our need for more efficient and attractive closet space while dealing with the realities of the existing closet areas. The installation for three closets (MBR, pantry, front hall) took only 1/2 day and looks fantastic. I have had 2 closets designed by Cindy A. and absolutely love her promptness, professionalism and her service! I highly recommend California Closets and specifically CINDY to help customize your closet and living space. I also had a custom shelf / storage added to my garage. Cindy was able to work around the unique layout of the space to create a beautiful and functional space for us! We will only be referring Cindy to our friends and family. We used California Closets in our Garage and in 3 separate closets inside our home. The designer was nice, she just got flustered easily at simple requests. Dealing with Bonny and her corporate BS with regards to scheduling was a headache. She claimed that everything would be installed in one day. Upon arrival, the installers laughed and told me that it would actually be a 3 full day install! Hello Scott, You seem to have reviewed the wrong company. After discussing your review with our team, it appears we have not completed a project with the specifics you mention. Also, you mention a scheduling commitment we would never have made; installing storage in a garage and three other spaces in one day is simply not possible and we never would make that promise. This is the fourth time I used California Closets and absolutely the last. I will continue to tell everyone I know to do the same. Branden, the consultant, and his lack of follow through was truly amazing. The office staff does not listen or seem to read any emails sent regarding the project. And the price, seriously? When I first used California Closets there were not as many options out there (and I had a good consultant). Now we have many choices and options. California Closets should not be one of them.
