Food was excellent. Actually the fire roasted corn was one of the best things I ever ate. The chop salad was definitely the best I ever had. The steak couldn't be any better.

Whenever I'm in Savannah which is several times a year, I never miss this restaurant if I have a free night. The decor is classic RC and food quality and service has been consistently excellent over the years. What made me write a review this time is the fact that they decided to round up enough employees to open in the middle of hurricane/tropical storm Debby (which came right through Savannah) when most of the down was shut down due to flooding concerns. As soon as we were seated, I told them I had issues with dairy and soy. I ordered the filet and shrimp and said again that I could NOT have any butter or soy on the food. I also ordered the fries, as I was told there would be no issues. I asked the server to confirm there was no chance of cross-contamination with dairy or soy. I said if there is, please replace it with a plain baked potato. My food comes out with butter all over the filet & shrimp. I explain again I can't eat dairy at all. They apologize and take it away. This location is a Savannah staple. Been here several times celebrating anniversary. It's very consistent flavors and service is always good and the atmosphere is always professional and romantic. Been here multiple times and will continue to frequent establishment.

I am an OG veteran of Ruth's Chris, but up until now only in California. Beverly Hills, Anaheim, San Diego, Del Mar. I've always loved how we were treated in Beverly Hills and I didn't think we'd ever get that kind of treatment again. Then we came to Savannah.
