Went to Ruth's Chris for a birthday dinner. Service was impeccable. Our server, Drew, was attentive, welcoming, and a fantastic conversationalist. Visit Ruth's Chris and ask for Drew, you won't be disappointed!
Got into town later than expected and was glad they were still open and took me without a reservation. Sat at the bar and chatted with Aubrey and Kate while enjoying some delicious seafood paired with a tasty cocktail. Aubrey was outstanding and brought Sasha over to chat about must visit places (being a former tour guide). I hear their Espresso Martini is on point, so I'll be back to try it. This place never disappoints and having one in Austin, I knew the food would be great for my first night in Savannah.
Let start by saying this is a very expensive place, just for my husband and I it was almost 400$. However it was a great experience, food was great and our server was amazing
Really gross and overpriced. Tons of better options in the area. Their quality has declined so much in the past few years.
Waited over 1:15 for food after sitting down. Service response to complaint was essentially ignored. Would not recommend.
We visited Ruth Chris Steak House and it's Savannah location on the eve of Valentines Day. We had initial high hopes especially when we first entered. Everyone was nice and the atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. Servers seated us, they were nice, quick, and just overall the only good thing about this location. Dreadful service, I walked in my party of 6 with a reservation for 6pm and the staff would just not seat us for unknown reasons, when a table would open up everyone around us would get attention and seated before us while the group of hostess were snickering behind the reception desk and when we went to ask what the hold up was they would giggle and say the were working on it. Disappointing. Drinks were good and the side dishes were good. But when you go to a premium steakhouse for a $65 steak, you should get a premium steak. Not some half inch overcooked slab that you could pick up at any local supermarket.
I would not recommend the Savannah location on a holiday, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day in particular. So many issues to list. Bottom line, location was overbooked and understaffed. Attempted to cram as many diners as possible for the evening. Seated in the very loud bar, at a tiny "bar" table very close to other diners on both sides. Service was slow.
