We were in town for the St. Paddy's Day weekend, and we wanted a nice meal. The location is convenient when staying down by the river, but it's an older place, and the decor is dated. Their bread and butter and steakhouse salads were good, just like they should be. We decided to finally try this place. I love a good steak. The staff was super friendly. My husband and I both ordered the 16oz Ribeye. The steak was very good but not cooked to perfection. They came out more medium rare than medium. Not so rare that we couldn't eat. The mashed potatoes were a little too watery for my taste. So there we were, my wife and I celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. Arrived and grabbed a drink at the bar. Before being shown to our table. Keeping in mind, we reserved a specific table, number 35 -why would we know a table number?- 6 weeks prior. Ok, misunderstanding. food was soooo nasty!!! i am completely shocked!! steak had absolutely no taste!!!! the brussels had no taste!!!! the food taste like they didn't even try!!! there was absolutely no seasoning on the food!!!! dont waste your time!!! there are better steak houses in savannah!!!

Can't go wrong here. Excellent food. Knowledgeable, attentive staff. Great setting downstairs for a larger group. Nice drink selection. Had the filet...could have been more rare but it was great. Everything else was perfect.

I called ahead to make a reservation after driving all day from Florida. I let the person on the phone know that I've been driving all day and I would like to come in and he did not mention anything about a dress code. I walked eight blocks to get there and when we arrived, he said that he does not have any seating for us. When I told him I have a reservation, he said we have a dress code unfortunately but we were able to sit at the tables in the bar area. My husband and my parents and I were here our last night visiting Savannah. We spent 5 days in town and out of all the days we were there this was the absolute best dining experience we had. It was perfection. Every component. From the staff to the food to the table to the ambiance to the noise level. It was everything we wanted and had been wanting for days. 1. Food is overpriced for what you receive. Even if you get the pairings portion of the menu. Steak had good flavor, but could have received equivalent service for a better price and value at another establishment. A lot of the side items from the menu tasted as if they were previously frozen and were bland. 2. Still/Sparkling water was not free. 3. They did not mention gratuity was already added to our bill, leading us to almost tip 40%.
