A friend and I went for dessert in the evening during the weekday . We were seated in what they said was the best waiter area The waiter Was not happyThat we were only eating dessert . The few comments caused us to get up speak to the manager and leave . Never judge a book by its cover because had we experienced good service the tip would have been huge due to waitressing in my younger years ! It was his loss !! So we went downtown to a better dessert place and had amazing service !
VERY disappointed and will not return. You're Ruth's Chris, a chain restaurant. Yes, the new restaurant is immaculate, but the customer service is pathetic. Let's just say the pretty woman "you can't afford this" vibe was on full display. Stay humble, be grateful to EVERY customer that enters your doors. I'll stick with River Grille, Crabbys, and even Bonefish.
I came here last night January 20th, 2025, I made reservations a few weeks ago for my dads birthday and 6:00pm, we arrived right on time. We were greeted by the hostess who checked us in and advised us is it would be a second before they got us seated. We got seated and they gave us an iPad with their wine selections and cocktails I thought that was pretty cool. Finally went to Ruth Chris for the first time in my life yesterday. It was founded in New Orleans, so I already had a positive bias toward the evening. Service was exceptional and educated. Wine selection was outstanding and not too overpriced. The steak is truly what this restaurant is about. The filet mignon was exquisite. And the garlic mashed potatoes were perfect. We have generally enjoyed our visits to Ruth Chris in Rogers, but this evening was an unpleasant dining experience. We were seated in a high traffic area, and my chair was bumped throughout the meal - 10-15 times, and I kept scooting closer and closer to the table, which didn't help at all. At one point, my purse flew off the back of my chair and wound up on the floor. I had to pick up my purse, which I wouldn't complain about, but I didn't put it on the floor in the first place.
