We had an amazing experience with California Closets. The estimate was done quickly and safely with zero hidden costs. Ben worked with us to come to a budget we were comfortable with. The installation day was so simple, and even though I was working from home, I barely noticed them here. They wore masks the whole time and protected our new carpet from any damage. The whole process was flawless and the end result is AMAZING!! We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome and so glad we went with California Closets!

Second time using CC and it was a terrible experience. I will edit this later to go into detail but exhausted of all the time and expense they have cost me due to mistakes, miscommunication and too many third-party conversations/too many people involved! Hi Lani, Your account of dealing with us is correct. We got it wrong with your special-order counter top. Twice. Initially, we did not place the order soon enough to meet your initial installation date. When it finally arrived, the counter came in ever-so-slightly too small and that fact was not noticed until early on the day it was to be installed. Our experience with California Closet form start to finish was nothing but excellent. We worked with Sally, very knowledgeable and experienced, guided us through the whole process. She was very patient since we changed our mind a lot and went back and forth with our designs and she was nothing but sweet and made changes to our design a few times per our requests. We started our closet design process in the midst of the COVID shutdown. Cindy did the designs for us and she was a pleasure to work with. She was able to do almost everything virtually, which was great. She was also very patient with us when we kept changing our minds about things and requesting revisions to the designs. You're better off with a GC or another company that focuses on closet organizers and installations. Last year, I worked with a SF rep named Sarah and had my appointments no show on me a couple of times for a 3-panel sliding closet door. It was my second installation out of three orders I had in my new home. This installer spoke little to no English and came in 30 minutes late, as I remembered almost missing an appointment due to the tardiness of the installer. I have used California Closets for 2 separate projects within the last 2 years. Both projects were completed to spec as designed. The finishes are high quality and the craftsmanship was really good. Dusty was our design consultant. She was super helpful and responsive. California Closets is not the cheapest option but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend CC for any future needs.
Highly recommend working with Manjul She spent HOURS helping us to create the perfect design for our small space. Including planning around the awkward attic door. She was so kind and patient even when we changed up the design. Steve also did a fantastic job installing everything and wore a mask the whole time. Thank you! Quality, soft close/full extension drawers, and a lifetime warranty...worth every penny FYI I have not been into the physical store but will have to check it out.

Sarah Ford was an absolute pleasure to work with. She listened to my needs and concerns about designing our new closet to maximize storage in our new condo and then quickly did a great job designing what ended up being the perfect fit.
