This was my first time using California closets. We did a custom desk with drawers. They also did a bookshelf. I'm very impressed with this business from start to finish. It was a pleasurable experience from the very beginning with the sales rep and designer Shannon. She made the whole process really easy. Customer service is flat-out appalling. I had not one but two representatives that were straight up mean girls. I had eight closets in our newly purchased townhome that needed interior closets done. When I asked the first rep, Justee, if they could shave off the pricing some she curtly replied, " We don't deal with clientele that nickel and dime us." Charlene at California Closets - Los Gatos was the ideal consulting sales agent! With sensitivity to COVID, Charlene patiently worked with us to design two closets virtually (using zoom and screen share). She then then came out to verify that all of the measurements were correct. The installed closets were just as we designed.

We worked with the California Closet Roseville store just east of Sacramento. We wanted to install a Murphy bed in a studio apartment above a garage. Murphy beds are expensive and we also understood from a neighbor that "self assembly/install" options could take upwards of a day. We checked into a variety of options, many of which didn't seem to have California Closet's quality or ability to customize. We were very satisfied with the overall experience with California Closets. From our first conversation to the last minute of the installation, every one of our questions/suggestions were accomplished. I would refer CA Closets to friends.
This review is for designer Alice Kempton. It was SO great to work with her. She was really efficient, diligent, creative and client service oriented. I tried working with 2 other closet companies in the area and none of the designers were as savvy and easy to work with as Alice; nor did their designs show me that they were in-tune with my space needs. I was sent a terrible designer who wasted my time. Said that I can't have a closet in the bathroom as the shower humidity doesn't not allow for any California closets in a bathroom. Completely incompetent on my other more sophisticated projects. Only call them for non-custom made stuff. Huge disappointment.

First of all, the location says Huntington Beach, I live in Manhattan Beach and Trish came to me...so don't let location put you off. Trish Morrow, the consultant came with several ideas, computer generated so we could look at the closet from all sides. We discussed pros and cons. Communication and Process were fluid and made this home improvement effortless for me!!! I was so incredibly pleased with California Closets from the beginning to the end result.
