This is not related to California Closets work alone, but one of their AMAZING employees who happened to notice that my front passenger-side tire had popped in a parking lot. This occurred as I was leaving a convenience store and he grabbed my attention, suggested I pull over into a parking space and then proceeded to help me change the popped tire to the emergency spare in the back of my trunk. Great to have a new closet! Thanks to Mary T's help and design skill, I have more space and it looks 110% better than before. I also so appreciate that she let me borrow a clothes rack to use while the installation took place! Talk going above and beyond! I'm calling Mary again if I need another design for some other part of my house.

Just make you loose time, days after hours choosing what you want, they told you that option will not be possible. In my case my designer did not show at store, neither a text. Never on time for zoom meetings TERRIBLE!!
From start to finish, the customer service was fast, friendly and professional. Karen came out right away to check out the spaces and her turn around time for the design proposals was within a day. Roberta and Jeffrey came out to do the installation--they were also friendly and respectful of our property. And yes, they wore masks when they were in our home! The closet systems look fantastic and I am so excited to start using them!
My experience with California Closets was wonderful. From the start, the design process with Jo was very easy. She did such a great job utilizing my space. Her design really maximized my storage space. The installation appointments were 4 months out from when I met with the designer. I was able to get on a waiting list and get my installation a month earlier, but still did have to wait quite a bit of time. Based on questions asked and lack of interest in designing a custom closet for me, led me to believe Laura Volz perhaps is prejudice. She did not ask closet related questions other then my budget. She snickered after my thoughts on customizing a console drawer for back wall and upgrading drawers to walnut. Which soon followed the question of, "What do you do?". 95% of our experience has been disappointing and quite frankly a NIGHTMARE!!! The sales process was great, but once we committed to a purchase agreement our sales representative Susan has been non-existent for the most part. Our install was scheduled for December 14, 2020 in which technicians did arrive; however, our closet is still incomplete to this day and we're now in the middle of January 2021. After waiting 3 months for closet organizers to be installed, I was told at installation that the drawers were damaged and would have to be installed later. They promised that they would be ready in a few days..... 10 days later.. still no drawers. Very disappointed as my closets are not complete and not sure when they will arrive as I have had no communication from the company
Not happy. My designer Sherry was excellent, the materials are great, but the final product was extremely disappointing. I did 3 closets, a media center and an office credenza/bookcase. The media center was very nice, the closets were just OK (some drawers don't close fully, etc), but the office unit was terrible. It looks like a cheap piece of furniture from a discount junk store instead of something that cost thousands.
