I am in serious need of a closet upgrade and visited this store for a product. The 2 ladies working there over weekend were unmotivated and also not bright. When I asked for a specific price spec on 2 products one associate got up and read the placard aloud to me. I guess she thought I was illiterate. I let her know I read that and asked again for a specific price on 2 items and nothing. Another associate came over and said it would be "expensive"... Overcharged. Did not install to specifications. Did not return calls to correct. Lied to us. Avoid this company at all costs.

My California Closet is life-changing! Over the years, I have invested thousands on my wardrobe... but had settled on shoving those pieces into crowded spaces. My friend recommended them because of their superior quality over other companies. We also had a great experience with them. We had 3 closets done. They were very professional and willing to accommodate our last minute change request.

After having a bad experience with another Toronto design company, we hired California closets to install a Murphy bed in our den. They were transparent, professional and provided a great end product. Their communication was great. There were some minor install issues that if I had not been present for, could have been a big problem. That's the only reason why they are not 4 stars. Overall, I found them worth the extra money.

I also had a wonderful experience with Lylah. She's personable but wasn't distracted with small talk. She was super knowledgeable and was able to make CAD changes quickly and thoroughly... incorporating all of the minor detail adjustments for each version. She came up with a brilliant layout for our closet and now it gives us joy every time we walk pass now. The installation was flawless! Great experience from beginning to end. The consultant,Mindy,was professional and knowledgeable and took into consideration my needs and gave me a design that is awesome. Josh, the installer, was prompt,polite and did a fantastic job with the installation and his cleanup was excellent. Now my closet is no longer a jungle because it's functional, organized and looks fantastic. I've had many projects done at my home over the last year and this was by far, the smoothest of them all.

Terrible service. Initially went to the store and ordered one extra shelf. Clerk was very nice, requested that we pay upfront and assured us it would be in within a week. It has now been two weeks and every time I call I either get the answering machine, the corporate office or a person who assures me that the person I initially dealt with will call back.
