We used California Closets 5 years ago and they did a great job! So with another closet needing to be done we called them again. This time they sent Kathleen Gruen to design the space, and from the first phone call she made things difficult! And when she came out she was negative, even telling me the closet done by her company must have been done by someone else, which was absurd! I am thrilled with my new closet. Heather did a wonderful job with her design, really listening to me and what I needed. She even had doggy treats in her purse for my pups! When there was a problem with the original installation, Heather made sure it was fixed to my satisfaction. California Closets is on the pricey side, but the customization and quality seem worth it. I am able to fit a lot more in my closet than I thought possible and it's easily accessible!

Kelly was highly professional and created excellent designs of the spaces based on my needs (i.e., mudroom closet with shoe organizer, laundry room cabinets). With the modification of the design, she came back to the house to redo the measurements again. The installers were obviously trained and experienced carpenters. Similarly, they were also professional and meticulous with their work. We are very happy with the service and products. We plan to have more projects with California closets. These two were our pilot projects.

Shane, the installer arrived at the start of the window timeframe, called me on his way over and was very good about putting down the tarp to protect the carpet. The install went quickly and the new closet system looks great. Shane did a very nice job and was professional and courteous. We first read about California Closets back in July 2015 when we were building our home and we were "Googling" closet installers in the area. We asked our builder to leave the closets empty with no rods or shelves in the master to make things easier as we knew we wanted custom closets. I've been working with Manon now for a few closet designs and must admit I think I'm the most excited about the laundry room we just finessed together. Manon is just amazing! She's able to capture very quickly not only what you need functionally but gets your style and personality. This all translates into a killer design!! Poor follow up. Had an issue with the closets after installation, no one ever called me back to this day. Go elsewhere.

Cal Closets provided numerous built-ins for our new house late last year. Our contact Emily is the most thorough and attentive person I have ever dealt with. I pride myself on my thoroughness and attention to detail, but she has me beat. She also went the extra mile in trying to accommodate our move-in schedule (even returning an email at 2:18 AM once!).
