I can't say enough great things about California Closets and Katherin L. in particular! We had another company install our wall bed and they did an absolute terrible job. The design is not what they sold us, every handle was crooked, they left deep scratches on our walls - it was a complete debacle! Loving our new California Closet. Preston designed a beautiful system within our budget that doubled our storage capacity. Our installer Alfredo was very professional, clean, and courteous. We had to pay a bit more than we would at a big box store, but the end result was worth it.

I had a wonderful experience with California Closets thanks to our design consultant Darlene, and I wish I could give her twenty stars. Darlene is everything one wants when embarking on a home project: she is knowledgeable, experienced, innovative and flexible - and kind and professional as well. So I have a hard time leaving such a bad review on a family owned business but I feel it's necessary for the buyers out there. I would not recommended using California Closets for multiple reasons. Pros and cons below. Pros: Does maximize the space with efficient builds The field office did a few things to right their wrongs (the wrongs shouldn't have been to begin with so not sure this is a pro) Cons: The quality does not even warrant "good" When they built our piece the drawers did not align nor did the actual trim. During the build, you requested for our installer to shift the location of the built-in unit, which we did to accommodate your request. In doing so, our installer did not factor in the base trim of the built-in that conflicted with your baseboard heater. I have used Cal closets for my garage, master closet walk-in, and kid's room reach in, 3 projects over the past three years in my home. Each time my experience has been positive. Utmost professionalism. I am so impressed that they provide me with a rendering of the project so i can really "see" what it will look like before it is installed. The price is a little higher than other companies, but you won't deal with last-minute cancellations or bait-and switch, or inferior workmanship, or inexperienced personnel. Wonderful job! Sabina took my ideas for my walk-in closet and made them a reality. She was very upfront about what to expect as I was nervous about having extensive damage to the the closet walls. (There was none other than the "marks" from the old shelf and rail.) There was no pressure to choose California Closets but she made me feel like she was my partner in this process.
