This is the first time I've had a real closet organization system where I live. They make such a difference with what you can do with your space, its amazing. California Closets completed the last of my closets in my condo, and they did a beautiful job on all of them. I had shelves, hanging spaces, and deep drawer dressers built into the closets. Dear Hannah, It makes sense for you to respond quickly as this is a public forum. I do think that people can read the reviews and come to their own conclusions. For me, it's clear that you are either completely satisfied, if you are lucky enough to get a good designer/installer or you are unlucky and extremely disappointed. After 40 years in the business, it shouldn't be left to chance. Excellent service and good quality. Our designer is Veronica. She actually came to our house and did detailed measurements in our first meeting. Our next appointment is at their office to look at what they have, choosing materials and hardware accessories. Veronica is very professional and extremely pleasant to work with. Recently worked with Maria at the Tribeca location and can't thank her enough for all her help designing two master WIC's. She was timely and accurate in her measuring appointment. Offered up great suggestions to better use the space. Once drawings were complete, she continued to work hard to understand my needs and what was important to me to make the necessary tweaks in the design layout. It's a pleasure to work with Linda and her team. Linda is very experienced and professional. She designed my closet with precision and it turned out to be exactly what I wanted! And the installation process was very smooth as well. I will definitely choose California Closets again in the future.

The California Closet team and my designer Linda made my closet dreams come true! She understood my vision, was able to answer my many questions, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Our spare bedroom is now the beautiful and functional master walk-in closet it was meant to be!

I'm so disappointed in the customer service at this location. It's too bad, because I have heard such great things about California closets. The rep you sent to our home treated my construction worker like he was beneath her. I asked for a bid, and a week later it's still not done I made the experience as easy as possible, I basically gave her the reigns on the design. California Closets demonstrated incompetence across all levels of their organization. Almost every one we had to contact with throughout a multi-week ordeal lacked professionalism and any concern about our experience. What should have been a one day install turned into a multi-week ordeal. Some of the main problems include: failure to complete a job on time, difficulty of scheduling a followup to complete the job, installing parts with blemishes, and creating a flawed design which overlooked prominent features in our closets... read more
