On May 31, 2025 I dropped my vehicle off at Jiffy Lube in *********** at 8:00 AM for a state inspection. I was told service would begin by 9:30 AM. I received a call at noon stating the car was ready, but upon arrival, discovered it was a different vehicle. I was told mine would be started right away. After 30 minutes of waiting, the vehicle had not moved. I sat and listened to the group swear and curse out a previous client for over 10 minutes. Also, the place stunk like pot. The group was lax, and I have no idea if they did what they were supposed to because they were all too involved in yakking back and forth in the office. I will NEVER go back again
Went to get an oil change. Everything was fine (of course, got the usual upcharge service pitches about the dire condition of my car) but what really irked me was the final bill when I learned that I was charged $6.99 for the extra 2 oz. of oil beyond the allowed 5 quarts in the already high $49.99 service as well as an unadvertised $6.99 "shop supply/waste disposal fee." That was an unanticipated extra $14 charge or more than 25%! They've lost me as a customer. I'll be going elsewhere next time.
I have always had my pickup at this JiffyLube. I dont really know what with this last visit . There were two vehicles in the building when I pulled up to the door and was told to open the hood and follow the attendant to the waiting room.After 50 minutes the vehicle in the ********* was pulled out and a large commercial van was pulled in . Finally my tuck was entered and 15 minutes later my vehicle was pulled out out.I guess it was a bad day.
Terrible *************** slacking off, smoking cigarettes in shop.Went in for an oil change on my 2021 VW Jetta.After 3 days, there were oil drips all over my driveway. After investigating, the idiot that performed the oil change did not tighten the oil drain plug hard enough and did not tighten the oil filter. I got an oil change here and had a pretty good experience, but they followed up with an email recommending a bunch of services that were absolutely not needed. My car was brand new with less than ****** miles. It didn't need anything except an oil change. Of course, they recommended getting the next oil change in ***** miles. Whatever. Now six months later, my vehicle gave a notification that is is due for an oil change only ***** miles after the last one. Jiffy lube in round rock punctured my windshield reservoir and messed up my four wheel drive my collision and lane alerts and now I have all these warning signs which will cost hundreds to repair.
Upcharged my girlfriend nearly $100 on a routine oil change, with hundreds of dollars of "immediate" actions listed out that were complete bs. Would NOT recommend this store to anyone who needs an honest mechanic that isn't trying to pull one over on you based on how you look. Do not send your daughters. Do not send your wives. Do not send your teenagers or young adults. Cannot believe they charged $50 for an additive in the oil change, plus another $30 for the oil filter. The employees are courteous, but the company's practice seems a bit dishonest when an incident occurs with your car. They follow some 'standard process' that seems to be for their protection and not in the interest of their customer.They are not interested in really working with you to resolve the issue. I only wanted them to repair my vehicle but they refuse to acknowledge any part they may have played in damaging my oil pan. I believe my oil Pan was damaged during an oil change.
