Wouldn't even come for an estimate since the job wasn't big enough for them. Wow!!! No thanks. I'll try someone else. I am seriously surprised by all the 5 star reviews.

We had an excellent experience with CertaPro for exterior painting. From Kevin, who provided a comprehensive estimate and answered my questions, to Deon the manager, to Edwin the foreman, to Soumil the owner, we were in good hands every step of the way. They were the least expensive of the three quotes which is one reason I chose them, though not the only reason! They were able to start almost a whole week ahead of their estimate, which was great. CertaPro Painters just finished painting my house. They did a beautiful job on my old house. I couldn't recommend them more. The painters were more than cooperative with anything I noticed needing correction, and they were fun to have around. They are pros, knowing the latest techniques to make it a flawless job. I got 2 coats of Sherwin Williams paint. Would recommend this, as it looks beautiful and will give me the wear I need.

I hired Certa Pro to paint my house last summer and they did a wonderful job. It had been a long time since the last paint job and they spent almost a whole week prepping. The team was also very tidy and there was no sign of them ever being here what's the job was done (except for a Certa-Pro T-shirt that I found in the garage and claimed for myself) I was impressed that they would not accept any payment until I was completely satisfied with the finished product. We've used the Berkeley-area CertaPro guys twice now: kitchen, dining room, master bath, and some exterior work. We're big fans. Soumil (the owner of the franchise) is a friendly and very responsive and accommodating fellow. The two crews we've had do the work were both great. Our last round of work was done by Jeronimo and Manny, two wonderful guys: punctual, careful craftsmen--and very nice to boot. Prices seem competitive. We'll definitely call on CertaPro again in the future!

The first time I used CertaPro was after one painting company started a fire that destroyed my garage due to carelessness. CertaPro picked up and quickly finish the job. They did great work with no fires. This past October, I replaced a number of windows and wanted to treat my shingles and paint the trim afterwards. CertaPro told me they'd work with me to coordinate with the window installers and quoted me a good price. CertaPro Painters have just finished the exterior of our house in Berkeley. It is a three story house on a narrow steep lot which required scaffolding, ladders etc. They provided excellent prep, and painting (lots of trim & a wide balcony) in every nook and corner. They were punctual, polite, efficient and meticulous. We're very pleased, and they are most highly recommended!

Just had a complicated exterior paint job completed to my great satisfaction by CertaPro of Berkeley/Oakland. The workmanship was exceptional from preparation through final coat. I love the clean straight lines separating colors. Israel and his crew did a great job. I give them my highest recommendation.
